Anything exciting happening today? NOthing here. Just a bday party tomorrow, but that's all.

Starlight (greyhound) was sick for a few hours last night and poor EB had her outside to the bathroom every hour on the hour. Hopefully she's better now and whatever it was has worked through her system. Keep your fingers crossed!

Please somebody for the love of all that is good, explain to me what FO means?

Hazel just told me that she received a call from Nancy(closing company for our DVC resale) earlier this afternoon and Hazel was told that our closing was taking place today. Nancy said she would send an e-mail when the closing was finalized!!!

WOO HOO! YOu must be relieved!!!

Now I need to research what are the "must do" things for Philadelphia that we can do in 1 day. Andy or anyone else in that area can you give me any recommendations on what to see and where to stay?

Hmmm...I have to give this some thought. There are quite a few nice museums in Philadelphia. LEt me think about this...

On another note. The septic replacement went well. Now we can get back to a normal life. Lynn was getting tired of going over to church, if you know what I mean. Just kidding. I don't know if I will ever have a garden again because the extra leach line now runs under where the garden use to be. I just can't get use to knowing that when I see veggies growing there. Who knows, maybe I could have giant veggies.

Oh, thank goodness! What a pain that must have been!

Down here in South Jersey Hazel paid $3.78 a gallon yesterday, still a bargin for us I guess.........

FO is a "game" that was invented on the Konked Kruisers cruise meet thread (way before I joined so I don't know the whole story). It stands for Fresh One - as in a fresh page or a new page.

To play: If you post and your post is the first one on the page, you try to post a second time to "claim" your Fresh one, in other words, you started the new page. However, if there are several people posting, someone else might post right after you (40 second rule comes into play), and deny you your FO.

We tried to stop playing when they gave us a limit to how many pages we could have on a meet thread, but old habits die hard, and some of us still do it.

Thanks, getting ready to walk out the door and stopped by for a quick check. An FO or "First One" is when someone gets the first post at the top of a new page, then they have to make the second post on the page to claim an FO, such as I did above.

This game started on the KK1 thread, it had slowed down for a bit after the board change over with the threads being smaller now, but I thing the FO game is regaining her glory days........

I've always thought it was pretty cool the way we met. I think it was definitely fate. What else could explain to military brats ending up in the same place.. but no classes together... meeting at that very time?

Matthew was great. I saw him in the hall a week or so later and he remembered me and asked how the presentation went. Such a sweetheart!

Our first "date" was Grad Night at Disneyland!

I hope all went smoothly with the wedding today Nancy! The weather this afternoon when I got out of work sure was beautiful so hopefully it was done raining by the time of the wedding (no windows in my area of the hospital to know when it became nice out)

The weather cleared up nicely. The wedding was beautiful but just too many boo-hoo moments. I bawled like a baby. I'm going to be a basket case in November.

It was in my latest Best Care Weekly email from them.

Guess I should read mine every now and then.

It sounds like that would hurt but maybe I should try it for my allergies, they've really been driving me nuts this week.

Hi Everyone (who are all probably sleeping while this west coaster is still awake)
Have to post a proud wife moment today. My DH Sean got to shoot at the range with the FBI today: . Shot a 47 out of 50 with the sniper rifle. Then the FBI held a BBQ Lunch, and he came home looking like a racoon. Yes Mother Goose he does need the sunscreen lecture when you see him. He was all when he got home.

Sad moment of the day was when Sarah called me at work crying. The problem with special ed (besides the disability) is that she is in a class of 9-12graders, so some of her friends graduated tonight. She sat out on our porch and listened to some of the ceremony.

Good job Sean. No preaching from me on sunscreen, but wait until you see my Tag Gifts! (Just kidding)

Gift opening for the wedding last night today for us. Then the rest of the weekend is ours to enjoy.

Mel, a FO stands for "Fresh One". afeg started this on the first cruise meet thread. When you get the first post on a fresh page, you must claim it on the 2nd post. If you do, you get a FO. If you try to claim it on the 3rd, or any other post on that page you are "denied". Just a crazy little game started by a crazy man.

Nancy - looks like it was a lovely wedding...that daughter of yours looks like she's still grinning from Jesse's proposal!

My first digital was an Olympus - it did have quite a lag. When Thomas started walking I had tons of empty frames - he had walked out of the photo by the time the camera took the picture! I have a Canon now....

The Disneyland first "date" of course has a longer story to tell as well. Matt (and I call him "Matt" because that is how he introduced himself to me that fateful day...me and noone else - ever!) Well... Matt was actually going to grad nite with a couple of friends. I kind of got myself invited to join them. Part of the way through the night, we lost his friends --- they wanted to eat at a mexican place and we didn't. The guys didn't arrange a place to meet. Good for me... I got him to myself the rest of the night!

We have been a Disney couple since then. Our honeymoon was WDW - The Grand Floridian when it was still new. We went back to WDW the next year. And bought into DVC 2 years later (Old Key West now... but then it was just referred to as The Disney Vacation Club on all the signs / buses etc).

As for "getting my B.O.B. on"... I'll work on it!
