Good morning all,

I believe I am packed and ready to go. DS # 2 drove me to work so SIS can pick me up and save me an hour of going home to get them. The driving weather looks good and the week end weather in Orlando looks good with only a few showers for Sunday. So as long as I carry around the poncho's and umbrella it won't rain.

I am so ready for a Dole Whip and I may have to try that Grand marnier smoothie I saw Samantha Brown drinking on the travel channel!!!!!

Di and I got married in Vegas at the Little Wedding Chapel across from Circus Circus. The one in Chevy Chase's Movie and by the same minister in the movie....

I don't think anyone is crazier than me, on my last trip I took over 6000 photos

Now that everything is digital, it is so easy to take so many pics.

Remember the days of having to pack all that film?

My last non-digital trip, I brought home 51 used rolls, I sure love digital

I always have to clarify my "Vegas" wedding...it was at a true church! I lived there for 6 years. We met at the tail end of high school and got married as soon as I finished college. The wedding was at his parent's church. (He had already moved away.)

Anyway... after living there, the city has no appeal for me for a vacation. We go back to visit Matthew's parents, but the glitz and glamour is just too fake!

Yeah, I feel the same way about the Rocky Mountains...been looking at then for 26 years now..I'm over it I can imagine all those lights get real old quick!

Cass during our first USA trip back in 2003 we took 13 pictures but on our next visit a year later we used a whole 30 shot roll,but we were there for 3 weeks.....

Actually, I have NIGHTMARES in which I am returning from a trip and realized that I didn't take any pictures

I think that near the end of our WDW week last October, there was a day when I only took 18 photos!! My average is about 200+ per day but I was stressing with my in-laws and was miserable

Chris, you need to document things more! Then when you're old and decrepit, your kids can look at an older picture of you and say "Wow, dad...you were rather handsome back in the olden days!!"

ps...We don't do photos,ive sent 20 years trying to avoid them and the only comments i get off that lot when they see an old pic is "LOOK DAD'S GOT HAIR"..... Remind me again just why did we have kids?.....

Red cabbage is my second favorite veggie Karen. (Pickled beets being the first). I never heard of honey water. Is there a recipe for this? If so, I'd love it!

Just chop it up and pour on boiling water just enough to cover it in the pan and then squeeze in honey and let it cook. Keep stirring and let the water kind of reduce and the cabbage goes really sweet and yummy! The honey made a huge difference - even Neil liked it

oooooooooo.....the claw! Don't you just love those LGM's?

I have one! - He's quite big and when you squeeze him he says "The claw is my master" and "I have been chosen" and " oooooooooh"

His head lights up too - erm...how old am I again?

I'm also hoping they eventually add the Toy Story show on the Magic - how long have the current shows been running? Anyone know? If not, we may all have to take a Wonder cruise together!

WELL, THE BACK DOOR SAGA CONTINUES.

They came this morning and fitted the door. I went to check it before I wrote the cheque and found 2 little scratches/dents in it

They tried to repair it but I'm not satisfied so they didnt get any money out of me again today. The store manager then visited and I now have the manufacturers engineer coming out ot inspect, rectify or decide to replace it tomorrow. Ever wish you'd never started a job?

Its one door for god sake Thank god we didnt ask them to build a conservatory

On a good note we popped to the shops today and I found 3 more of the photo album that I got last year for the cruise that I absolutely loved

They had discontinued the line but I managed to find one the other week in another branch and bought 3 more today

They hold 500 photos each so that should be ok for this year and next!
