Suz is planting her garden today - she took the day off (the office is closing down for the afternoon, so she took the morning off. Well, not really taking it off, since she made up all the time for today earlier this week ).

Monday, if you're just sitting around, we were possibly thinking of running to Mineshaft and a movie (most likely Narnia) up in Hartford. If it is crappy, you want to come?

I may swing by Uncle Sam's up on Hwy D to get some fireworks as well that day - they have a sale through the 31st.

Nope, doesn't sound like it. But look at the bright side, at least his timing got him down there when this was going on as opposed to having something happen and then needing to go down there afterwards.

Hope him and Hazel find some time for relaxation and fun.

I believe they fly home on Sunday.

Yeah, yeah. Believe me, I was in panic mode yesterday about all this. I did do a back up just a few weeks ago and didn't really add that much except some of the shower projects.

How long have you lived in Wisconsin? Don't you know that we only have a one hour window for the forecast around here? It changes every hour on the hour.

Well at least you didn't lose/erase the one and only copy of your wedding video.

Actually, Jesse's dad, John, had a video of the mass. He made a pretty decent dvd out of it for everyone too. Tony was saved.

Hey, I can predict with certainty that if my mom's family has a reunion, it will rain that day in Green Bay.

I did, howver, once guess the exact time it would start raining one of those days. I said 7:10 at night. Sure enough, at 7:10, is started raining.

I wanted the kids to hire a videographer for the wedding but everywhere they checked it was over $1000.00!! Kristin and Jesse are on a tighter budget with their wedding so I don't think they'll be hiring one either.

I should have asked Victoria for her hubby's business card. I think he does that as a side job.

Can you believe the weather patterns up here in WI the last few years? No rain/drought conditions in May, June and early July and then tons of rain end of July and August, to the point where you can't keep up with the grass.

I remember it always being reversed. Wet and cold through mid-June and then hot and dry form the 4th on.

Yeah I had to call Sean and ask what it was, then it dawned on me that you also play rugby. I'm sure I will get all the ins and outs come August.

The DS are having a rugby tornament on Castaway...if you're interested. Very much like American Footbal without the padding! ouch!

Busy day at work today Jeff? I'm hoping it's slow. So slow that everyone ditches out early and I'm all alone. I'll lock the doors and turn off the lights in the front of the office. My office has it's own lights, so I'll make it look like we're closed and then DIS all afternoon.

With Karen MIA this weekend, it was a slow read this morning. Thanks for entertaining me a little this morning though.

Also pray that the money in Neils wallet last the weekend Ellis usually goes into "can I have" mode ...can I have a flashing lightsaber, chocolate , a flashing lightsaber for my other hand, more chocolate, a flashing lightsaber for this kid I've just met, chocolate for the same kid I've just met, a go on the go-karts, the trampoline, the quad bikes, mini golf, a hotdog that I wont like and wont eat, a burger that I wont like and wont eat, a slushy drink that I'll leave on the table til it melts .......the list is endless.

This time tomorrow I'll be in the evening entertainment area watching Ellis at the mini disco and party games, followed by a cheesy cabaret - they actually improve after a bottle of bad wine

Heather - have you been watching Chelsea Flower show this week on tv?

I have a huge list of plants that I now want

I haven't had time to see the live shows, but I've got it on tape to watch back. Tend to look out for the Floral arranging marque and spin through the rest. I have also been working out how to upload to my IPOD, so not much time for TV.

Just checking in, haven't read back yet. Won't be able to until tonight.

However, I wanted to let you all know that Andy is out of contact today. The power went out this morning because of the fires and so has the phone. Luckily he had the car charger for the cell phone with him and he is able to keep that going.

The power came on early this afternoon, but the phone is stil out. He just TM'd me again and said they won't have a land line until Friday afternoon. Therefore, he won't have a modem connection and won't be checking in with us.

He did say the fires are about 3 miles from their place, but luckily there is a lake in between them and the fires.

As I get updates from him, I will pass them along to you.
