Morning Andy and Mel. Good afternoon Heather. (I know you're out there). :goodvibes

Where's Karen? Where's Jeff? Where's Sean/Cath? Where's Steve? Where's Waldo? :confused3  :confused3

Afternoon Nancy.

But he made it there........

What a great action photo and an FO to boot!

Wow, what a storm yesterday! We were without power for some time. I had a couple of things broken and Derek swears there was a tornado in the front yard. He was home alone and has a wild imagination, but the weather was bad nonetheless. I was a little anxious to say the least. I have no basement so I decided we'd hunker down in the laundry room (middle of the house) if need be. I'm a Louisiana girl; I can handle hurricanes, but tornadoes scare me.......

Everyone is fine here, though.:goodvibes

Oh my goodness....Desperate Housewives again.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Good morning Miss Nancy, are you all packed for your Mission this weekend?....:thumbsup2

Yes sir....all 2 tons of cargo is ready to go.:rotfl2:

Stay safe Sisitah!

And on that note...since it's getting really wicked outside right now, I'm signing off early.

Chris...have you never seen homes in FL being built?

No,and if am honest i won't take much notice until the home being built is to house the Fat bloke and his nearest and dearest and even then i think we'll be more than likely be in North Carolina, will i still need a bunker to sleep easy at night?......:rolleyes1

Is their nothing in the building Regs that make it compulsory that builders built homes that can withstand such weather?...:confused3

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: that's funny.

The house I'm in looks pretty but it is poorly made. They will not last like the old military houses did.....and the civilian contractor getting the rent is making a killing!

NC gets hurricanes, not too many tornadoes I think. At least when we lived there, we had no tornadoes, well, except if they were offspring of a hurricane. Flooding was an issue in NC if I remember correctly.

I hope every one stays safe. it is very hot & humid here today. We get the nanstystoems almost every afternoon in the summer. We have had two small tornado's go through the back yard. What a mess, worse than hurricanes. We have been here 12 years, have had one new roof and two new fences and no more tress thanks to mother nature.

Happy Thursday all.

OK, I've got to get back to work, I goofed off enough this morning......:rotfl:

I'll be a part of the change management team, assisting in training for the new projects, facilitating project logistics, and coordinating project activities.

I'll be traveling quite a bit throughout the year to Texas, California, Canada... to most of our subsidiaries and conferences. Schedule hasn't been set yet.

I started training a temp for my job today. They want me to start ASAP, so I'm going to work 1/2 day on one job to train her and 1/2 day on my new job.

Regarding my Dad... he's doing a little better. He's starting to smile more, doesn't seem so agitated. Psych came in today...the way he talked, he may be heading back to Windsor soon. (nursing home)

How's your Dad doing Nancy? Hope everything's fine.

YEA...Coming to Texas...Maybe Di will let you ride on the HOG...:moped: :moped: :moped: :moped:

I like a "fiesty" woman on the back....:lmao:

You will get along well with our friend, Dave, who is cruising with us. He is the XO of the Wounded Warrior Regiment here. If I am not mistaken, this is a new regiment that has been formed since the war started. For lack of a better term, they seem to be somewhat of an "advocacy group" for our wounded Marines.
