Sounds like the wedding went well, glad that weather held out for you.

It was picture perfect. I'm so proud of both those kids. They did a fantastic job on the entire event.

I just got back home after shopping with Kristin. No hall or church decisions, but we did find something she's wanted for a long time for the wedding. Do you or Suz have any good ideas regarding a hall? No red velvet chairs, no red and gold wallpaper on the walls and nothing gawdy.

Good laughs??? Yes, I had many. Unfortunately, they were at the expense of dear friends.

The location doesn't matter. We figure if people really want to attend, then they'll go just about anywhere reasonable. We were considering Lake Geneva but that's a bit too far.

Suz and I were talking about OBS when we were trying to decide which restaurant to go to once and she said she heard that Bloomin' Onion is one of the worst things to get - nutrition wise.

They are also the worst thing to get when you are on a date. That onion breath really kills the mood.

So I'm looking at putting something together for right before Xmas. I can get airfare for $214 (plus I can use one NWA ticket I have sitting around on MW - so only two airfare I have to pay for) and a moderate for $119.20 + tax (if I book directly with AAA, they don't do the rate change on the weekend).

That would be $975 before food, rental car and MVMCP tix.

If I go value, they are only $65.60 per night and I could bring the cost down to $725, a savings of $250. I could do the whole trip for right around $1,000.

Now we just have to see if Suz can get off work and if there are any issues with DS missing 2 1/2 days right before Xmas break.

We'd have to fly at 2:45 p.m. on the 17th, and back home on an 8:00 a.m. flight on Sunday, but it would get us to WDW at Xmas time and when Karen, Neil and Ellis will be there.

Guess Suz and I need to talk through this one.

So you're only going to be there the 17th through the 21st? I hope we see y'all there.

This must be a day for good DH. In a burst of energy this morning I stripped and washed all the beds in the house. I only got one put back. DH, who has never made a bed during our marriage, made the rest of the beds with DD's help!

Way to go DH and DD. It is always helpful when they can help out. Way to move up the DH ladder.

although i hear he's rich beyond our wildest dreams so that probably helps him out quite a bit.

I must say being rich might make him number 1

We can't take DS out of school too long. This would be 2 1/2 days only (fly at 2:35). It would give us 3 days in the parks. We'd also will be going to MVMCP.

Still unsure if it will happen. It just came up since DS will not miss any school now for the repo cruise.

i wanted to cheat on it, but robin wouldnt let me.
i think the thing that saved me is the treadmill 6 days a week.

The exercise part did not help me much. It did not like the fact that I answered 0 to all the exercise questions. Sorry I just don't do it.


Oh by the way for those interested. I have gained more weight. At last dr. appointment I am at 104.5. .5 more pounds and I beat my pregnancy weight. I can not wait.

I sure would. I would love to hear her ideas for girls night outs. Scott is always willing to watch the 3 kids but I can never think of anything to do.

Yeah Goose, what about the digital pics too? You can't tell us you didn't take any with your camera.

You really excpect a mother in the wedding party to have time let alone the energy to take pictures. She is lucky if she got time to herself to use the restroom let alone take pictures. That and she would have to stop crying long enough to take the pictures.
