Friday: Manicures, Pedicures, and rehersal went off without a hitch. We had pizza ( at DiMarini's) and all the boys came back to our house. They played poker and then we Wii'd until 2:00 am. I couldn't fall asleep until about 3:30 (no surpirse there huh?)
Saturday: Up by 6:00 (just me, again...no surprise) and made the boys a breakfast of Chocolate Chip pancakes, biscuits and cinnamon rolls.
Kristin came back from her $85.00 hair appointment and ripped it all out because she hated it (again, no surprise
). Kristin and I left for the church to be there by noon leaving strict instructions for the boys to follow right behind. Hmmmm, they actually showed up 45 minutes later!! No surprises there.
As soon as we saw Stacy the tears started to flow. What a beautiful bride inside and out! She was the Perfect Bride! Honestly! Cool as a cucumber and a pleasure to be with.
I made it up the aisle without crying and so did Stacy's mom. We refused to look at each other for fear of losing it. As soon as Tony saw Stacy, I looked at him and he said "Oh man, I think I'm gonna cry". He held it in until she got up to him and just one little tear fell.
The service went fine until the entire wedding party started laughing. Seems like Jesse was singing one of the hymms and was a little louder than he thought and way off key. Even the Pastor was laughing.
After the vows and the introductions as the new Mr and Mrs. G-----, Tony and Stacy did a little secret handshake and I gave Tony a "high five" on the way back down the aisle.
What seemed like thousands of pictures later, we were finally at the recption hall. Great food, lots of fun, and just a few drunks. The bridal dance was hilarious and I wish we had it on video. I know someone does, but not me.
Jesse gave such a wonderful speech/toast and the poor kid lost it at the end. He had the entire place laughing at one point and bawling at the next.
( I just love that kid!).
Sunday: An impromptu "gift opening" party at our house had Tuna and I scurrying to Sam's to plan a luncheon for 15 people. That turned out great too!
I'm taking my camera to Walgreens to get prints and will try to add a few pictures here, but the photographer will have all the pictures up by this week and I'll post the link somewhere for all of you to see. Warning....there are some absolutely horrid picks of me "losing it" too.
It was a wonderful weekend and we really did have the time of our lives!
Thanks for all the "well-wishes", the prayers for great weather (they worked!) and for not T-Ping our house.

We just smile and nod.

I know I will prob. only loose 1-2 this week but that's the goal so I am good with it. Lunch is a South Beach sesame chicken wrap with sugar free rasberry jello. Yum!! Still not sure what I am going to have for dinner.
