I'll need to look for the Hershey sticks, I also love Tootsie Rolls for a "lower fat" chocolate fix, if only I could learn to limit the number of them I eat I'd be fine.

I know I keep telling myself cooking at home is healthier and like you said better for the budget but I just need to keep motivated to do it. We have been so busy at work lately and I have been putting in extra hours and often times I just don't feel like cooking and then having to clean up the kitchen after working but I managed to do it this week, even after working overtime 2 ofthe days so hopefully that will keep me motivated.
I got my realage back and I am 2.9 years younger than my actual age so I'll take it.

Cheryl - use the crockpot! I make at least 1 meal a week in my crockpot - it is so nice to come home to a cooked meal....

We're also entering grilling season - does Al grill? I have 3 grill meals planned over the next 2 weeks, steaks (small ones), chicken, and turkey brats. DH grills and I only have to make the sides.

OK peeps, don't get too crazy this afternoon. I have to get ready to go back to work now, see ya later...........:wave2:

Seusical The Musical, she says she thinks they're ready and that it is really cute. I can't wait to see it! Now I just have to remember to pick up some flowers for her tomorrow for after the performances.

Sounds fun! I haven't seen that one yet, but I'm sure it will be great.

Tell her to break a leg!

Thanks, sistah! I'm starting to get a little nervous sitting here at my desk wondering what the heck is happening at my house.

I think you should go home. Jay too. Try to start that vacation early. You know you won't have peace of mind until you are home.Am I a bad influence?

You're a wonderful bad influence and if we didn't already have someone out on vacation and if I hadn't already worked from the house on Wednesday due to those other things ... I might try to bug out early. But I'm stuck. :guilty:

I second that recommendation - you can't focus on work, anyway...

Damn I hate it when that happens.....:headache: Do y'all have the local news broadcasting 24 hours? Are they giving "neighborhood updates?" If there is a TV in your office, you may be able to find out something that way. (Or maybe your local TV station has a live feed on their website. That's how I kept up with my parents' neighborhood during the flooding of Hurricane Rita. I would watch it on my computer in Monterey and call them on their cell phones to let them know how their neighborhood was doing while they were evacuated.)

Give me a report when you get back. Like I said, I'm looking at that one for maybe June 2010.

Are you going on the Explorer of the Seas?

Yes, it's Explorer of the Seas. The boat looks fantastic! I'm anxious to see what the Promenade is like--it's mentioned on every promotional item.

There's no local neighborhood coverage at this point - just the city network. Jay will be home by about 2PM, so that will help make me feel better.

I'm sure it's not as bad as I'm picturing ... and if it is ...

I'll take some pictures and write a trip report and post it on the blog! :lmao:

I'm not sure...but if we can get her out of the habit of multi-posting, she could really get ahead of those guys while we're all asleep! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Rcahel's musical is tomorrow night and Sun. afternoon with dress rehearsal tonight from 5-9. It has been a busy week for her but she is excited!

Rach is ready to get rid of most of her teachers. I think she is really ready to get out of middle school and on to high school. She's had some "strange" teachers this year taht are new to taeching in the middle school and about ready to retire, it's a good thing she is a good student so her grades have stayed very good.

Tell Rachel good luck on her musical! I feel her spring fever. I moved from 7th to 8th grades this year. I have had the same students for two years. I'm ready for several of them to go on to the high school--some of them probably feel the same about me! However, I hope I'm not one of those "strange" teachers. That would be esp. hard for DD next year when she is in 8th.:scared1:

we just need to stress to her that it is for the greater good of the team!

Bye Jen.

I'm out too. Gotta return some phone calls.

One or two cookies will not kill you. Promise! :thumbsup2 The last thing you want to do at this point is deprive yourself. That is the fastest way to fall off the wagon!
