34 pages in two days amazing. It's hard to catch up!!!

have a nice Friday I must get back to work!

We move fast Joanne, but don't feel like you have to go back and read everything if it is too much. Just jump in right where we're at can ride the wave from there.

I just had to file a claim with american family ... the front part of our roof which overhangs our porch has pulled away from the rest of the roof! :scared1:

I saw it this morning when I was backing out of the driveway. There's also about a four inch crack from the top of our front door to the pillars that mark the entrance to our dining room - it's perfectly horizontal ... who knew mother nature could work without a ruler and still stay level?

I'm still leaving the basement for Jay. :lmao:

Oh Brenda!:headache:  Good luck with all of that! I know you are really ready to leave for Vegas now!

Hi Cheryl,
yes, soccer is in full swing, practice M-Th between both kids. Both have games on Sat & Sun, and when Bryce doesn't have a game to play, he is refing. Fri's are my only free night usually, but not tonight or next Fri, we have a scrimmage and make up game from last weekend when we were SNOWED out. We had to cancel all games, from raining for 3 days straight and snow on Friday night.
Has Rachel done her play yet.

My kids are getting ready for summer vacation also, it's seems to have been a long year. I'm also ready to get rid of a couple of Bryce's teachers, too.

Rcahel's musical is tomorrow night and Sun. afternoon with dress rehearsal tonight from 5-9. It has been a busy week for her but she is excited!

Rach is ready to get rid of most of her teachers. I think she is really ready to get out of middle school and on to high school. She's had some "strange" teachers this year taht are new to taeching in the middle school and about ready to retire, it's a good thing she is a good student so her grades have stayed very good.

OK, I have to head back a few pages and see what I missed while I was WORKING this morning...........;)

Just a reminder tonight is the 2nd of the new Disney shows on the Travel Channel called Disney Splurge! It's on at 8pm central time and then again at midnight here.

Already Tivoed it! I think I set it up last week! :thumbsup2

:scared1:

We just had an aftershock ... that created some discussion here at the office, let me tell you. :lmao:

Shopping went well, I'm all stocked up for about 2 weeks, not including the short trips for more milk, etc.

I have chocolate rice cakes to try, string cheese, merengue cookies, laughing cow light cheese and All-Bran crackers, as well as fruits and vegetables. I also have some sugar free pudding and jello at home to make up. Last night after dinner I cut up the melon I bought so we'd eat it. Tonight I'm going to make dinner (cheeseburger macaroni) and also make another casserole (baked ziti) at the same time and put it in the freezer for next week. Then if I have a bad day and don't want to cook I can just pull it out and bake it.

sounds like you are off to a great start Jen!

It's gross!!!! Ground up chickpeas. i think it's greek, a lot of people do like it though.

Don't know if I could stomach it.

Most funky diet stuff I can't. I'll stick to fruits and veggies that I know for snacks. :thumbsup2

I went to the grocery store this morning and stocked up on healthy foods too! I found a new 100 Calorie Pack Snack Mister Salty Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels and of course I had to try them already, they were yummy, granted you don't get very many for 100 calories but hopefully it will be just enough to curb the salty sweet need.
We eat out alot, too much, and this is the first week in a long, long time that we have actually eaten dinner at home every night since Sun. and tonight we have left over night to eat up all the little containers of left overs from the week. I am really going to try and keep making dinner at home more often like this. I can tell it is helping already, I lost 2 pounds this week!

Woo Hoo!:cool1: Go Cheryl Go!! You would be surprised at how eating out, even healthy, can tack on the pounds.

Have you every heard the term Jersey drivers??? Sorry grew up in NY couldn't resist. I am glad you are ok. We spent a lot of summers at the shore!

Hey, I resemble that remark.................:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

So what kind of drivers/traffic are we going to have to contend with in June when we drive out to New York and Boston this summer? We are staying 5 nights in Jersey City right by a PATH station to get into Manhattan but saving LOTS of money by not staying right in Manhattan. I figure when we get to the hotel in Jersy City we'll park the car and probably not get into it again until we drive to Boston.
