They are Mara and Elminster

Jen they are beautiful! Thanks! :goodvibes

I had to go to the pet store to get a light for DS's fish tank and they had the cutest puppy there. Not sure what brand it was (see I'm not a dog person, I'm sure one of you would refer to it as breed :rotfl: ), but the guy said it gets to 80 pounds.

I have no idea how big that would be, but DS is only 52#, so it would be bigger than him. :scared1:

It was darn cute though. Whitish. Can't remember if it had any other colors - I thought it did. Good thing Suz wasn't with me.

Jeff, my DS is scared of big dogs - I think it has something to do with being knocked down by a chocolate lab when he was 3ish.

We aren't good candidates for dog ownership - the dog would be home 8-9 hours a day alone. Plus, we're usually gone on Saturdays too....pretty lonely life for a dog.

I just took this pic of Angelina's cat Stefani as she is laying on the foot rest of my Lazy Boy. This is one of Stefani's favorite places to sleep.

I love fat cats!!! A friend of mine has a HUGH orange tabby named Otis. He is 23lbs!!! He looks like Garfield.

Good morning/afternoon everyone!

Back at work again today...sigh...

I really enjoyed seeing all the pet pics! That was fun!

Cass, my cats love to find fun "spots" too. When they were kittens, I would often find them both curled up together in the bathroom sink! It was so cute (except when I needed to brush my teeth!).

Yeah, that lasted for about 3 hours Lori. I have to have my tea. Since coffee is the big no-no for my throat I thought I'd pace myself with this "giving up" stuff. I don't want to over-do it ya know. :rotfl2:
I might get too healthy and then what would my doctors complain about then? :rotfl2:

:rotfl:

I think I might have posted the pic before, but I'm not sure. This was my buddy buddy Midnight. It's so hard to believe he's been gone for more than two years now. :sad1: This pic is the wallpaper on my laptop....:goodvibes

Midnight.jpg

What a sweet angel! :cloud9: I know he is missed.

Our fur-baby ... Handsome Pete. We've had him since he was a kitten - he'll be 8 years old in July. He holds a special place in my heart because we picked him out just a few weeks before my brother died - having this little guy around really helped me through some tough times. He's a punk, but he's also a sweetheart.

He hates it when we travel...

It only makes sense that a cat of ours would love books...

I'm plush ... what's wrong with that?

Give me the camera ... and the catnip and no one gets hurt

There's that handsome thing! (sorry not you Jason! )

Ok, so my geek husband is watching all the pre-flight online stuff for the shuttle launch tonight, so I am perusing photos and decided to share some with you.

What can I say, I am a scrapbooker, avid photographer and I take a lot of photos and love to share :rotfl:

Ok, let's start small....:lmao:

Here is a pic of Lilo and Goof...I've never seen them do this so I thought it was funny!

lilo-goof.jpg

And then, a few days laters, in the same spot...check this out...trust me when I say they never do this! :lmao: Lilo and Stitch

lilo-stitch.jpg

Cass you know how much I love your pooches!!! I wish we lived closer. Shadow would have a ball playing together! He needs someone his own size to run around with.

He loved bags of all kinds...

Sinks..

16.jpg

12.jpg

Folders...

15.jpg

The top of my shower (didn't think he could do that one!)

14.jpg

Chairs that were on top of counters while I cleaned my floor...

11.jpg

Then we moved to a new house...and he found new spots.

The top of the fridge was first of course...

6.jpg

Then there were the cupboards above the fridge!

4.jpg

NEAR the sink...

9.jpg

5.jpg

Laundry baskets..

7.jpg

Must have been expecting a fax...

8.jpg

And then Lilo and Stitch came along and he found even more spots...

In their bed...
2.jpg

On their kennels..

1.jpg

That's all I could find but there are more! :rolleyes1

We miss you Slink, you sure made our lives interesting :goodvibes

I loved all the Slink pictures. Diane

Then I have a couple of puppy pics....

No wonder we got them...

Can you tell which one is Lilo (hyperactive, playful one) and which one is Stitch (lazy butt!) LOL!

26.jpg

27.jpg

I KNEW I should never have gone to that kennel!!! Cuteness will get you every time!!

Love it! :lmao: She is a girl after my own heart!! SUPER LILO!!!! :yay:

Ok, now I wanna share some funny Slinky pics. :goodvibes

slinky.jpg

We adopted Slinky in 2002 when he was one year old. He came from an abusive home and I felt bad for him. Unfortunately we had to get rid of him last year because he decided to use everything as his litterbox except his litterbox. We tried different medications and many different techniques to no avail. He's living the high life on a farm in Rimbey Alberta right now. He has what he's always wanted, FREEDOM!! :lmao: So he's happy and things turned out for him.

I've had cats all my life (the first five my parents let me name...all 5 of them Mickey! ) but never have I seen a cat with more personality than Slinky. He was sooo funny! He found the funniest spots and here's but a few of them...I have more but can't find them.

My desk chair...the blanket is there because he shed like crazy and it was supposed to prevent any Slinky hairs getting all over my chair!

25.jpg

He claimed the top of the fridge right away!

24.jpg

As well as the little niche above the fireplace...

23.jpg

The microwave..
22.jpg

and my drawer for my dishcloths...which he opened all by himself!
21.jpg

He also claimed the spot under my lamp above my desk..

20.jpg

Apparently, he needed to make a call on Rob's cell..

19.jpg

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Don't get me wrong. I love my pup but cats have so much personality!!! Don't you wish you knew what they were thinking!

:lmao: You're not far wrong Jeff - the forecast is even worse fo my area tonight. Neil keeps ringing up and asking about the house ridge tiles on the roof - yeah right! - I'm fine thanks Neil:rolleyes: ...you just stay in your nice cosy hotel and bar:rolleyes: - I'll look after the house, child etc...as long as your having fun dear:rolleyes:

Day 2 of diet is going well:thumbsup2 - just to let you all know - I put on every pound that I'd lost so I'm starting over:rolleyes1

I have til late july to squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze into a swimsuit and it aint gonna be pretty:scared1: - it might help clear a big spot on the beach in Greece though:rotfl2:

I did lots of exercise yesterday and then walked the long way to Ellis' school last night and back. I'm off on the treadmill now for an hour.

According to Dr Phil I shouldnt rely on willpower - I'll fail (gee - really!). I need to put into place alternative things so I cant eat at my week moments of the day - mine is 8.30pm once Ellis is in bed - (otherwise known as cheese and wine time:rolleyes1 ).

Not any more:rolleyes:

Have a good day people. If you see a mad aussie fly past you tonight it'll be me blowing across the atlantic so catch hold if you can. They reckon my area could reach up to 80mph tonight:scared1:

Toto, I dont think we're in Kanzas any more......

Please be careful Karen!!! And remember to stay away from the windows.

All caught up now. Only took an hour. Looks like you guys had fun last night!

Love the pet pics everyone. :thumbsup2

Just stopped in to say hi.

I start back to school next Tuesday. I have to go order my books now.

Catch everyone later. :)

Howdy Jeff............

Gotta get back out the door and get to those meters, see ya later.........:wave2:

Hi Andy. Sorry I missed you again. I was getting ready for work. By the time you read this I'll be off the thread and working (so I say). Then I'll miss your lunchtime postings and you'll miss mine. We're just two trains passing in the night. :rotfl:
