Hi Chris Rach and I both have dentist appointments coming up in the next few weeks, maybe we should cancel them and Lynn can clean our teeth when we come visit

We book the excursions on the 19th, which is really 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night for us. I'm just going through that right now actually. I have to get a few print offs for Suz to look at. I think we have it down to no more than 2 in each port except Cabo. Still don't know what we're doing there.

As for the hotel, I will concentrate on that after the ressies on Sunday. We have decided to stay all 3 nights up in the DL area, but only go to DL on Friday. Therefore, since we will have the afternoon/evening on Thursday and all day on Saturday, we will be looking at a nicer property.

We've decided to hire a private van to take us to port with Chris and family. I found out more about the shuttle at the hotel we had in Long Beach. It didn't start until 9:00 or 10:00 and did the Carnival runs first. They wouldn't haed over to San Pedro until almost 11:30. All the other hotels in the area that had shuttles had late starts or you had to pay big $ to stay on their cruise package (the only way to get the shuttle).

There are about 8 hotels I have to research in Anaheim/Garden Grove, but right now the Marriott is tops on the list.

I'm trying to research hotel pricing for PV. We're there for so long that day, I thought about getting a room at one of the hotels.

For the price of the beach break Suz wants to do ($227), I think I can get an all-inclusive hotel for one day (night).

Just can't get Apple Vacations website to pull up the pricing right now.

Did you hear about that family that was in line for a ride at Disney behind Brett Favre? I literally would have wet my pants!

I'm sure Suz would have as well.

I'm surprised he couldn't score VIP treatment down there (or at least buy his way to VIP treatment). What's this standing in line crap?

I know!!! But somehow that makes me love him even more--he's just one of us. (with an an amazing arm and a much larger bank account!! )

I've read on the DVC boards a few times about people seeing the Favre family at WDW, they own DVC at the Beach Club Villas.

Chris how is the septic problem coming along?

We had three people look at the septic. We, Lynn, decided on one and it looks like it will undergo replacement, distribution box and leech field. It does not look like I will have my garden this year. In fact, Lynn informed me that I will have to relocate Buttonlady's grave. That will be emotionally hard for me to do. Just a note to everyone else, Buttonlady was a Chihuahua that had become a part of the family. Not a human in case you were worried about what I was talking about.

Congrats on getting your car for your trip. Only a little over 7 months now.

I do watch Rachel Ray but never saw her Turkey Burger Recipe. Actually, Karen, I had a Homemade turkey burger for lunch today too. I usually mix the meat with a chopped up Granny Smith Apple, scallions, an egg beater, sea salt and cracked peppercorns. I'll even toss in a few cranberries for extra fiber and if I've being naughty, I'll toss in a littl asiago cheese. And as Rachel would say....YUMMO!! I serve it without the bun.

Tomorrow night it's Chicken Tacos. I'll pm you the recipe.

I also have a really good Turkey and Slaw wrap that's very healthy too. I'll pm you with that one too.

Her recipe for the turkey burgers was

1lb of turkey mince
1 grated onion
1 handful of chopped flat parsley
2 handfuls of cheese
1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
2 cloves of garlic

She served it with a guacamole spread on toast with lettuce and tomatoes instead of a burger bun and called it a californian club. Really was Yummo!

Ellis loved getting his hands in and mushing it all together and he scoffed the lot once they were cooked too!

That's one reason why we enjoyed our first cruise so much....Thomas loved the clubs, so Pete and I got some time to ourselves. But i wouldn't want to leave him home...I want him to see lots of places...

Same for us Jen - Neil and I have never had so much time together - Ellis just loved those clubs
