It's really nice here today, but tomorrow is supposed to be bad. Why is it every weekend for the last few weeks has been yucky. I have yet to work on the tan!!! I got homelast night and there were six kids in the pool. I am glad someone is enjoying it.

It's lovely here today, I have shorts and a t-shirt on and all the windows in the house are open with all ceiling fans running!!!

Nice pictures Cheryl. I would post a few myself if it was not for Lynn deleting all my pictures from my digital camera memory card. "Where did all the pictures,...?" Remember she was sick for a couple days on the cruise because she could not figure out a way to tell me.

I'll remind Al and Rach that we need to make you a disk with pictures from the KK cruise. Your not still giving poor Lynn a hard time about this are you she sure did feel awful about it. We'll bring the disk in June. Yeah it is sad that Rach can't find a friend that can make it with us in June, she and I were talking about it the other night though and she said she is OK with it, she'll have a good time anyway, that's my girl . I think she had a feeling, like I did, that her friend's psycho mom would end up not letting her come. At least we know ahead of time not at the last minute like I thought it would be.

We're not leaving WDW until Saturday morning ... my guess is that we'll be antisocial and use FL Tours again on a roundtrip transfer. They pick us up at the airport, take us to the grocery store, then take us to the resort, pick us up and take us to the cruiseline port, and then pick us back up at the port and drive us to the airport.

We like the towncar service because we don't have to wait on anyone else (yes, we're impatient jerks) and can enjoy a nice, quiet relaxing ride just the two of us.

I'm probably going to be antisocial too....

Last time I paid $67 for a room near MCO Friday night and got picked up by ground car the next morning (the company was 10 minutes early - we'll be calling them again!). But I'm cheap....

Add Woody and I to the list as well even though we are going to WDW a few days before to spend some quality time with our favorite food and wine junkies! (you know who you are ) We both want to be in port on Friday and relax and I want to be there for the Magic meet on Saturday am. I am up by 5 every morning so getting up at 3 to meet everyone at 4 is not a big deal. I don't ever sleep on vacation anyway!

Hazel and I had to run to CVS to pick up meds, and there is a Subway next to CVS, so, we just went to Subway for lunch.

I picked Lina up from school, now I'm just waiting until it is time to go get my haircut. Lina has to be at the school at 6:30 as she is in charge of filming the high school talent show tonight.

I just got a phone call from Diana at the Radisson. She will send me an email on Mon. or before including what is involved in booking a block of rooms, cancellation policies when you book a block of rooms and she will include rates for the Fri. Oct.23,2009 for a group rate for a romm only, a room and including breakfast and for a park & cruise rate.

Cass I hope I'm not stepping on your toes with this, when I called this morning I didn't realize you had started checking on this too. If you want to handle this it's fine with me

How far out do you think we'd have to book?

Right now, I would have to know my flights as well as the flights of my travelling party if different) before I make a hotel ressie, because I want to get all of us to port via ground transportation. Last time it was easier to stay at the airport, but gosh it would be fun to be with the BOBers...

How far out do you think we'd have to book?

From what it sounded like they'd be willing to "reserve" a block of rooms now for us. I'll know more when she sends me all the details and I'll be sure to post the info here. I'm not sure if we'll need to get a definite count right away or if we'd be able to add more rooms later when people start booking their flights. If that isn't in the info she sends me she gave me her direct # so I can always call her with this and any other questions we may come up with.

Shelley, I'm still here. I really shouldn't be, I should be getting more done around the house, but once Rach and Al get home I don't get much of a chance to use the computer so I'm doing my DISing now

I think the DIS'er TA that was sailing with us in August 2006 had 25 rooms blocked at the Radisson for our group. She did that at about 9 months out before the cruise.

This group is great! Rach's friend Courtney is still cruising with us but a different friend was going to go with us on vacation this June (we are including a visit to Chris and Lynn ) and now all of a sudden she can't.
