Hello, Konked Kruisers 2...

I just made the deposit on this cruise today with DU. They really do have excellent service and prices!

I am so excited to be cruising with the famous Konked Kruisers.

Do you have room for 2 more?

There are myself (single mom, 28) and DS Jaryd (currently 11, will be 12 by cruise time).

We have never cruised DCL before but will be experiencing it on the 5 night special double dip 9/1/2008 (my 29th birthday).

Is it affecting your vision at all? I'd be worried about that - maybe you should get it looked at by a doctor?

Talking about kids and awkward situations.....DS went through a phase when he was a toddler/preschooler and he didn't like to ride in the shopping cart. He'd start yelling "help me, help me!" when I tried to put him in!

Other than being sore, it's not affecting my sight. The wait for a doctor here is 1-2 hours so unless I have some eye problems I won't be going to the doc It looks bad because all the bruising and it does hurt but I have been through MUCH worse

LOL, Poor Robin. This is my very first shiner I will be going out for some groceries as soon as Rob gets home, first time out since it happened so I guess we will see what people say

I sure do miss everyone. I've been up until midnight the last 2 nights doing school work. I decided to take tonight off. One class almost done... 10 more to go.

I remember going to the mall when I had my black eye, a big bruise on my arm, and one on my leg. I looked like I was beat up by someone.

Poor kid is going to be sooooo nervous!!

I remember when I proposed to Lynn last century. I thought I was . Instead it turned out to be an adventure that evening. We went out to our favorite restaraunt in Milwaukee for dinner and the proposal. We enjoyed dinner and conversation so much I forgot to slip Lynn the question . I did remember when we were in the car in the parking lot after dinner and began to ask Lynn the big question. It was at that time someone looking for a parking space came up to us and asked if we were leaving so he could park in the space . So I stopped with the proposal and we left for the second half of the night's plans, going to see the newly released movie True Grit with John Wayne (The Duke). No, I did not forget to get out the proposal there As soon as we settled into our seats with our popcorn and sodas I got the proposal out, finally . The rest is history. October 24 1970 was the wedding, so we will be celebrating 39 years on the cruise .

I loved doing this to Sean!
He'd go "But you are my mother!"

I'd respond:" Oh, no little boy you must be mistaken, go on now.... shoo!"

She is determined to play first base, but I think her natural position is outfield. Her best skill is basefunning. Once she gets on base she moves around quickly.
