Can you let me in on where it is? Oh yeah, we spent it all finishing our basement for some special friends that were supposed to move in with us but never showed up!

I should have known you had already answered.

Alex and her team lost the game tonight. It was a close game and getting near 8 oclock. Then Alex's team had a good few runs and took the lead so the other coach took his pitcher out and put in a really bad pitcher. So, she kept walking all our girls and not getting any outs. Guess what happened, it got too dark to play and the rules say you go back to the previous innings score. Sooooooo, they were behind in the last inning by 1 run. Nasty, nasty coach.

Claire wants to know how Alex did. Where did she play? Did she have fun?

Yeah, what's up with that? I loved how Rem got on the phone and asked for that game. That cracked me up. I told him not to ask anyone else for it for his bday! I'm aunt Lori and have to live up to my reputation.

He's going back to work tomorrow. Still sore, but needs to go in. He did something really pulled it out about 2 years ago, wound up with a pinched nerve as well. He and DS were moving the new stove into the house and he started to drop and reacted to it. He was off for about 3 weeks with that. Everyonce in awhile it flares up. Happen to be doing yard work this weekend and tweaked it. Poor guy won't sit still though...

She loves it. She played right field tonight. She got on first, stole second the stole third and got hit home. That was the only score she made. But she got walked onto base a couple more times.

Very busy. I didn't get home last night til almost 3 am last night. Katherine's mom called VERY sick and we called 911 and I went to UVA with her. Her husband works out of town so she called me and scott.

We got our cruise packet in the mail today. RC Explorer of the Seas, 5-night cruise to Bermuda. Everything including gratuities is covered; we are only responsible for excursions, spa, and personal purchases.

It looks like a good time, but not DCL. We'll be seeing how they compare. I am looking forward to seeing this Promenade that they keep hyping up.

Anyone have any RC advice? or Bermuda advice?

Don't run into any triangles.

Ok, now I'm being serious...welcome to the group! I'm Jen (this could get confusing) and I'm cruising with DH Pete, and DS Thomas who will be 6 when we cruise, as well as a whole bunch of family I won't bore you with yet.

This will be our second cruise (yes, the first was Konked Kruisers in Oct. '07) and this is a super fabulous fun bunch of people.

We do tend to chat a lot, but please jump right in and post - on-topic and off-topic - anything you want to chat about. All our really important stuff will be posted on the first page of the thread, and on a cool website that Timon (aka Cass) has designed for out group. Sounds like you've got the DCL bug already! I'm jealous of your double-dip cruise - Castaway Cay is a beach paradise!

It will just be my DW Hazel and myself (Andy) sailing, unless our DD changes her mind and want to join us. Our DD will be 19 by the time the cruise sails.

Welcome aboard, the more the merrier. I am Janice traveling w/DH Mark, DS Bryce (14) and DD Mackenzie (10). This is our second cruise, the first being KK1 in 10/07 with the best bunch of cruisers out there.
We have many seasoned cruiser, ask any question you may have, someone will be able to help you.

Other than being sore, it's not affecting my sight. The wait for a doctor here is 1-2 hours so unless I have some eye problems I won't be going to the doc It looks bad because all the bruising and it does hurt but I have been through MUCH worse

Well now that I am not at work, I actually read your post. I am also going on the 5 day DD on 9/1 with my best friend(who I call my sister) Shellie. Would love to meet up with you and introduce myself if you would like.

Sounds like a plan! We don't have a room number yet for September, we're booked as a Cat 11 GTY ( I actually paid for 11 before I figured out that I could book a 12 and probably get an 11 or 10 for free).

Have you stopped by our cruise meet for 9/1/08?

We went on Explorer in 2003. We didn't have a good experience though, not because of RCCL though. Rob was really sick the entire cruise and there were a lot of rude obnoxious passengers. It was a totally different feel than a Disney cruise. It would have been MUCH better though if Rob didn't get sick.

OMG, so I just spent the last 3 hours or more helping out Rob's aunt and uncle. They called me up tonight to give them some WDW advice. They are going to WDW on May 13th and they don't even know what parks are there They don't have tickets, or dining ADR's and no hotel booked

They asked me if you can walk from one park to the other.

They asked me if they could walk from MK to Universal Studios



Ok, I am off to finish the last few chapters of my book And maybe start another one

Made it through the day at work, but still don't have my voice back yet, DW and DD are loving it!!!

This is DD's only night off this week from musical practice as the cast did a free show for the Senior Citizens this morning. After that show, the cast stayed in the auditorium and did another dress rehersal, then had lunch.

They have the final dress rehersal tomorrow night, opening night is Thursday, with shows Friday and Saturday nights, then the final show is Sunday afternoon, followed by the cast party Sunday evening!!!
