10/24/2009 - Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #4

Well friends...It's exactly one month from today that Tony and Stacy will be getting married. (where's the groom smilie?). They are both so excited now. The stag party has been planned and the guys are doing paintballing for 3 hours, then to Hooters for wings and beer, then back to our house for a poker party. No strippers! Tony doesn't want it. The Bacholorette party is the same night. Dinner at The Olive Garden, then the Comedy Cafe and clubbing after that. The girls are renting a limo so no one has to drive. (Smart chicks huh?) It's all coming together quite nicely.

I can only hope that when Kristin's time comes that it'll be half as easy. She's planning on a DCL wedding and getting married on Castaway Cay.

Jay has been with his company for ten years and as a "thank you" they're flying us to Boca Raton in August for a weekend at the Boca Raton Resort & Club!!

Four nights on them, plus airfare, plus a catered dinner on the company's yacht ... one of Jay's buddies at work went on this trip last year and said he ate seven lobster tails from the seafood buffet that night just because he could ...

Sometimes it pays to work for a privately owned company! They do this every year for employees celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25, etc... years of service with the company.

Now how am I supposed to get any of the work done that I brought home tonight when there's another vacation to think about?

Yeah, I bought one for Suz back when she was pregnant in case I didn't get home to do the drive. She has used it a couple times this year finally. Keep in mind, DS is 8 YEARS OLD!!!!!

it's kind of dark and disturbing but i really like it.

its obviously been edited. the basement doesnt look that bad.

Robin,Mike each to their own i say when it comes to parenting however i feel it would only be right to point out their are other methods for dealing with behavioral issues in the home....

ps..Do you feed the child while she's down there or not?...."Ryan get back down there and take your sister with you,No sorry,Mike Say's no food while your down there"...

As for the 12 weeks in summer, that is what they make summer day camps for.

What do people in 2 working parent families do during the off time?

Put them in Robin and mike's basement.....

I got sick that night, too. After flashing a few people (high winds do not work with a skirt), I went straight to bed.

hope all you WI folks are ok. no snow here yet. supposed to get 2-5 inches of snow tonite.

We're fine. We're used to this crap! Kristin and I shoveled the entire driveway, the side parking, and the sidewalks by hand because the snow blower didn't work. Chuck got hurt at work this week and can't shovel for a bit.

Restaurants for a fish fry were a little scarce tonight so I opted for a tuna sandwich (No not a Charlie Tuna sandwich) instead. Now Chuck and I are already in our jammies and we're finally watching the Plant Earth series I bought him for Christmas. Sure would be nice to have one of those widescreen tv's right about now.

Cassie is an amazing photographer Mike. Do you have any more of her work to show us?
