Good Afternoon Everyone.

To all of you that are snow bound, I am sending some sunshine your way. I actually bbq'd last night.

I will be going to DL Memorial Day weekend, gotta get rid of some points that expire at the end of July. I'll keep my eyes out for Legoland coupons, but I am staying at DLR so I'm not sure if they will carry an outside theme park. But then again I say you should just stick around DL on Saturday.

So, My original plan for this cruise was to spend a week on the Magic then on Oct 31st spend a day in the Magic Kingdom and return home on Sunday. I think that my plans have morphed a bit. I'm now thinking that I may arrive earlier in the week and do all the parks while staying at CSR. Then top off the vacation with the cruise.

Now I wanted to do MNSSHP on this trip. They do that on Fri and Sat nights during Oct, right? I thought that we'd go on the Friday before the cruise. Rather than the Saturday when we will be ready to go home. Is anyone else thinking about being there early?

MNSSHP was not held on the Friday before the cruise last year. It was on the Thursday. The dates change every year but you can look at previous years and kind of go by that. We won't be arriving early for the first time ever. We won't have Kira with us and I don't want to be away from her any longer than we have to be. We will arrive the Friday before, do MNSSHP on Halloween night then home on Sunday.

It was nothing exciting Heather, I just picked up a big roll of ribbon. It was $12 but I only paid $6, gotta love those 50% off coupons It's only for one item though.

I am going back tomorrow night because I have a coupon for 30% my ENTIRE regular priced purchase (that only happens a few times a year) between 6-9 pm Plus I have another 40% coupon for one item I am such a thrifty girl, I love coupons

MNSSHP was NOT running the Friday before KK1. It was the ONLY Friday in October that it didn't happen.

If you plan on coming in a few days early, then you should be able to get to MNSSHP. I believe it runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.

This year's dates should be out in the next 6-8 weeks, so you can kind of tell what pattern they do. Rest assured, if you're in for the 4 nights prior, they should have it on one of them.

Not sure if you'll find them or not. In my DL brochure, they talk about other So. Cal theme parks and it is listed. Who knows.

As for DL on Saturday, I've learned not to go to that park that day. It is nuts there. However, if I can get Paradise Pier for 50% off again this year or if my WDW Park Hopper tix can't be converted and I have to buy DL tix, I may stay another night.

The snow is too wet for the small thrower to work and the big one has a problem with a belt and the auger won't turn.

So I reverted to shovelling.

To top it off, I jammed my finger and now it hurts something fierce. And my back hurts now.

Guess I should rest up before I go out again in 3 hours.

Alex had school and I had to work. Usually they are out for Good Friday. But we are never closed at work for that holiday.

Cass and Jeff, thanks that helps. I'll find a day that we can go. I'll be actually glad if it is not friday night, that way we won't be out late before the cruise.

Cool! maybe we can arrange lunch at one of the parks together. I thought about the the Oct 31st date and I may still do that. I'd like to be with the KKer's. My thinking was thus. if I stay after the cruise then my days in the park will be across a weekend (at DL this is a bad idea since the crowd level is so high) so I will not have as many weekdays to take advantage of. If I come before the cruise, then we are there on only weekdays. I did breifly think about doing the trip before the cruise and then the saturday afterward for MNSSHP but that would require more transportation and another stay at a hotel and really increase the cost of the trip.

Since I spent most of my time around that Mickey Pool last cruise, those pics make me fairly nostalgic. I don't remember the Goofy diving mural at all. I was just going to ask you where it was because I didn't remember it, then I saw your next posting.
