I liked the Eastern far better than the Western. Tony just asked us last night if we'd ever do another Western and I said no. I did like Grand Cayman, but not Cozumel. Maybe I'm still bitter about our excursion, but I didn't like it.

I love those two people with Pirate Bob. I think they live around here somewhere. ;)

I agree Nancy - I didnt think much to Cozumel - that wind didnt help though:eek: .. I wish we'd found that bar that Heather was in - that looked like fun!:rotfl:

I love those two too:hug: - Ellis talks about him all the time and I'm the same about Suz. Considering we'd never even chatted on the boards we got on like best buddies - she's such a lovely lady (not sure what she's doing with that Jeff though:rolleyes1 ) - only kidding tablemate:hug:

I don't know if I'd book another Western either. Maybe a double dip, but that doesn't go to GC. Too bad they can't do GC and then come East to some place like St. Thomas. Maybe go:

Day 1: PC
Day 2: at sea
Day 3: Grand Cayman
Day 4: at sea
Day 5: St. Thomas
Day 6: at sea
Day 7: Castaway Cay
Day 8: Disembark

I see you don't care for the guy that usually tags along with them. :sad1:

I might want to do another Western, but probably only if my true destination was the ship! I don't really need to go back to Key West or Cozumel. I wouldn't mind Grand Cayman again, but we didn't get to do much there other than the Pirate Encounter (which didn't work out too well for us - DS needed to be a bit older). I'd like to go to 7 mile beach or stingray city someday.

I think I missed it - what happened with your excursion, Nancy?

Besides making it back to the ship with only seconds to spare? :scared1:

It was very unorganized. Everything was very rushed. No running toilets at any of our stops, the dune buggies kept breaking down, the hosts kept begging for money, the ride back took us through the absolute worst parts of Cozumel, we had locals running up to the buggies begging for money and a ride, and of all people who had to join us, we had Jerkface with us. Remember him?

Enough said??

Didnt like Cozumel much either, all the shops were much the same and the people to pushy for my liking. We had our dolphin excursion cancelled so we were pretty upset that day:mad:
Good thing was we went back to the ship for lunch and at topsiders they had a mexican theme on. Scrummy.

Don't sell Cozumel too short Karen, if the wind wasn't so bad that day, I could have gotten you to a really nice beach.

As for a bar, you should have came with us to Pancho's Backyard. We stop there everytime we're on Cozumel.

Bosses left at 11:00 to watch the games. I'm here alone since noon. The office is closed tomorrow so I won't have to worry about the snowstorm. I hope the Easter Bunny doesn't get lost in all that snow.:confused3

Nancy,

Boss gone this afternoon or did you take off?

Going in tomorrow? I see they upped the snow to 6"-9" now. :sad2:

Did you complain to Disney? - sounds awful:sad2: - I hate that begging thing too... in Egypt it was dreadful - we were frightened to get off the coach:eek: ..

Then some fools paid for a camel ride a short way into the dessert... what the guide didnt tell them was that it was a one way trip and made them pay again to come back:lmao: - cost them a fortune for a 10 minute smelly camel ride:lmao:

Do you think they would have left without you guys? Weren't you on a DCL excursion? If that's the case, I may not go over to St. John at all.

Our buddy Jerky. Wonder if he still posts/lurks.

We did intend going to the beach but we only made it to the shop and then got back onboard. I cant remember what we did that afternoon - I think we just sat by the pool and let Ellis play.... and get photos of Planky in his Borat outfit for the trippie:goodvibes

Ahhhhh.....gotta like when the boss is gone.

No one ever answered my question, is the EB a male or a female? Maybe it is monosex (or is that asexual?).

And don't worry, the EB will stop by your house this weekend Nancy.

Yes, I did contact Disney about it. I wrote them an email and a rep called me back within hours. She apologized and promised to pass the word onto the higher ups. She couldn't offer restitution, which I wasn't looking for anyway, but did promise that she would take care of it. I could never blame Disney for the behavior of the hosts. The hosts were not the owners of the company either. I just hope someone followed through and things changed for future cruisers. The worst part was NO TOILETS for a 6 hour excursion!!!:scared1:

I just noticed I went over 8,000 total DIS posts a little while ago. Man I need a life.

So I sent a PM to a fellow BOBer several minutes ago, and they have yet to respond to me. Some people. :snooty:
