Just wanted to stop by and say hi. Still really busy and probably will be until about the 15th.

Looks like the thread has slowed down a bit. Actually a good thing for people like me who aren't on much as of late. Just hope no one gets bored and leaves us.

Looks like a lot of people are missing - must be getting busy with spring items.

I'll try to check back every couple days. If you need anything from me, just shoot me a PM.

Jen, my travel agent sent me all the dates and there is one for the 31st. She said the tickets should go on sale May 1st. We are also planning on doing the party that night.:thumbsup2

I'm actually thinking WAAYYY ahead to 2009 - the 31st will be a Saturday that year, so Brenda is thinking they may not have a MNSSHP the day we get back....

Oh, an update on my kitties...their bloodwork, etc. all came back normal. So, boy kitty is just being a goober, and I may have to give in and set him up another litter box at his "new spot" (which is 3 feet away from the other box :headache: )...:confused3

DUH!:headache: How dumb am I? I think I should go home now and crawl in bed!!!!!!!!!

Morning Everyone!

Andy hope you get better real soon!

Thanks!!! The meds are helping and I just had a hot bowl of Progresso Traditional Garlic Chicken Soup, or some fancy name like that. It was quite good and really hit the spot!!! :thumbsup2

I think it will be on that day because it IS Halloween that day. They always have it on Halloween night.

They don't do Saturdays usually because they are big nights during the week, but who wouldn't run a Halloween party on Halloween.

Yum...sounds good! I really like Progresso soups...

I'm having leftover chicken with couscous, and apple slices.

Now, after work, more soup, and hot tea :)

That's what I'm hoping for....otherwise we would probably just fly back Saturday.

But who knows - maybe we could do a couple days in WDW too...hmmm...

Darn it Jeff, now you've got me thinking about staying longer...pretty soon DH won't let me play on the boards anymore.....

Our DVC resale offer for OKW has been accepted, we should have our contract by the end of the day, now the "fun" and more "waiting" begins!!! ;)

Now I have to go back to work so I can pay for the DVC resale!!! :woohoo:

Yes - Jeff is right. the MK always hosts MNSSHP on Halloween - I just didn't look ahead and remember that we disembark on the 31st. :headache:

Having said that - be sure to buy those tickets early since the party on the 31st always sells out. :thumbsup2

No problem - I've learned there are no guarantees when planning like this ;)

I plan to have the decision made on whether we're going, who's all going, etc. before tickets go on sale so I can get them the first day...and I'm counting on Jeff to make sure I know when they go on sale...hear that, Jeff??? :lmao: :rotfl:

I just went out to WDW's site to see what the prices are this year and I see they are not available for purchase yet (at least where I was looking). I agree, buy them as soon as they are released.

Jen, if you are flying out of Milwaukee, you will have to make the decission early if you want to stay until Sunday. The planes will fill up instantly at 330 days due to Teachers' Vacation (I mean Convention) weekend.

Jeff, if you ever give up numbers, you could make a living as a Disney travel agent!

BTW, Jeff....please help me remember at 330 days out to book my flight....;)

Not much money in TA work from what I understand.

You'll know when 330 days is since Cheryl, Nancy, Janice and I will all be talking about it I'm sure. However, it will also depend on when you plan on flying down. Also, I don't think you can get the fly back date until it is 330 days from then. If MW (Airtran doesn't put theirs up at 330 days) sells the one way at 1/2 the cost, then I may pick up our outbound right away and book the return a week later when it comes available.

Doing a quick calculation, if you wait until the return is available, you'd be looking at December 5th of this year (or maybe it's the 6th, but if you try on the 5th and it's not there, no big loss - as opposed to going on, on the 6th to find out it was the 5th :headache: ).

We plan on going on Friday, October 23rd, so 330 days should be November 27th for the outbound. If all else fails, we'll fly in/out of Tampa (actually like that because it is less of a hassle) or wait until AT's fairs come out.

If you fly out of Chicago again, you'll have less of a fight for tickets.

FYI for next year ... MNSSHP tickets go on sale on May 1 of this year. That's pretty much in keeping with years past. I know when I bought ours for 2006 I bought them in May.

Congrats Andy. You have to be happy.

Suz and I have been talking about it over the past year, but haven't ever came to the point of acting on buying one. We go to FL on average twice a year, so it would pay off I think. We would only need about 70 points tops for how much we'd use it.
