Hello Everyone,

I am finally beginning to adjust to the real world again. I was swaying for a day or so myself and have been waking up way to early with the time change and east coast vs. west coast time. We had a wonderful cruise and I sure enjoyed meeting all of you again and some for the first time.

Steve always jokes about moving out of state someday and I've decided that if we do I'm moviing to the U.S. Virgin Islands. I absolutely loved St. John and St. Thomas.

One of the best things about our cruise this time was getting to have dinner every night with our table mates. Rick and Heather, Mike and Robin, and Walt and Di. What a treat it was for Steve and I to have adult conversation. It was a pleasure to get to know you all a little better.

I'm going to try and show my face on the board a little bit more so I can keep up with all of the friends that we've made over the last two cruises. Right now though I have 6 unpacked suitcases calling my name. (Unpacking has got to be the worst part of vacationing)

Love ya
Laura (aka Mrs. B9ner Steve)

Hi Laura! It was great meeting you as well. We had 2 previous cruises that Matthew got on the DISboards but I didn't. That's why this time I decided to get on myself. That made the cruise all that much more fun!

Unpacking...done. Putting away unpacked stuff?... ummm... well... :guilty:

Let Ellis know that I'll work on getting Stuart's email up as soon as I can, Then I'll PM you the addy. I have to say that Stuart really enjoyed getting to know Ellis this trip. He still talks about Ellis and Logan (especially when playing Rollercoaster tycoon)

Ellis loved playing with Stuart too. I'll pm you with his email address soon:thumbsup2

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:to those who need it today.

Ditto here:wizard::grouphug:

I kept Emily home from school with headache, congestion, achiness....now she has a fever and went to bed at 8pm. I will take her in to see the doc tomorrow. Of course this week the school sent home all the info about H1N1, and getting the immunization, so I am a little panicked. I am sure she is fine, but you know how you worry at night...

Hope she's better today. Hugs for her also:hug:

Janice/Mark, glad to hear all is well with Bryce. He did well because he built up his strength with all those meals on the cruise.:rotfl:

That's for sure:lmao:

Almost forgot: great pictures of Trunk Bay! Matthew has decided to plan for a trip to St Thomas sometime. It would be great to spend a few days there and visit St John's and the other islands. I will say that Trunk Bay was one of the few beaches I didn't want to leave. I could have stayed there a few more hours and come back the next day!:cloud9:

Now that sounds like a plan I could buy into...................

We got home last nite. Boy were we tired. Had a great time at Magic Kingdom for our last hurrah with all of our new and old friends Saturday night. It was so nice to meet Mimi, Mack and Kathleen. Thanks for coming to meet us at Caseys to watch the parade and fireworks. We really enjoyed the fireworks and parade. We spent the entire day there riding all the rides. It was so much fun. Walt and I are like little kids there. I ride all the rides even if i get alittle nauseous. Am I crazy or what. I had my Caseys hot dog and dole whip. We went to Animal Kingdom on Sunday AM. We slept in and got there around 11. Fun as usual. Went on Everest and absolutely loved it. Sorry to hear about all the illnesses. Hopefully everyone feels better soon. I am still swaying too. Hopefully it will stop. I thought maybe i had alittle vertigo. Glad I am not the only one who is feeling this way. It must be normal. He He. Prayers are for all of my buddies who need them. Hope everyone's family members and friends will get better soon. It was so great to be able to know people everywhere I walked on the ship. Yes, Walt and I had a great cruise. Shows, food and friendship were great. I really enjoyed the adult pool and beach. Rocking Bar D was fun. Smoothie meet was great. Our dinner mates were excellent. Robin, Mike, Heather, Rick, Steve and Laura. You all are the greatest. Laura and Steve, I want you to know you have the best behaved kids. They were excellent every meal. Our servers were great too. Yes, I agree all the pictures are great. Keep them coming. Joanne are you missing the pool. You are like my daughter and grandkids. Love the water. I must say again. It was great meeting my old and new friends. I will cherish the memories of this BOB cruise for the rest of my life. Thanks everyone for a great time.

Hey Diane, glad you guys are home safely. I find I'm only feeling motion when I'm in bed, kind of feels like I'm still on the ship. The cruise was wonderful and spending time with DIS friends made it even better!! When folks at home ask how our cruise was it's impossible to explain to someone who wasn't there - all I can say is GREAT! Trying to recap Match Your Mate isn't quite the same!!!

Hi peeps

All 3 of us are now at home icky.:sad2:

There is an online questionaire in the uk you can take re H1N1. We took the questionaire and were prescribed tamiflu yesterday even though we only have half the symptoms.:confused3 I have now had it for 4 days, Neils 2 and Ellis 1 1/2. Apparantly it only lasts 5-7 anyway so I'm going without it if I can.

Doesd up on paracetamol and flu and cough syrup etc. Have unpacked one case and nothing else. Still havent even viewed our photos!

Sorry to hear so many others are icky too. :grouphug:

Wow, that's a scare too! Glad she's doing ok at home now.:)

Now that I've taken some time to read posts I've discovered that many people are sick with some kind of flu. Do you suppose you all got it on the ship?

I haven't started my aerobics yet again.
:headache: Man will that be hard to do.

And Wendi, your photos are beautiful!
What a gorgeous family you have:thumbsup2

Well, it looks like my girl has the flu and strep throat. The initial screening for H1N1 was negative (yehaa!), but they are sending the specimen to Bethesda for more in depth tests/culture growth. So for now she is on Tamiflu and a Z-Pak for the strep (She's allergic to amoxicillin.) and she is out of school until Monday at least.:scared1:

I just can't get this girl healthy this year.:headache:
