Suitcase is zipped and ready, glad we are not flying- it has to be over 50 lbs!!

Just checked us into Animal Kingdom for 10/31.

We are ready to go!! Checking all paperwork again. I will not sleep tonight too much in the head!!

I was going to bed an hour ago. Now I'm wide awake, looking at last minute stuff.

Gina - we are SERIOUSLY twins! Me too! (Especially the picking fights part - why do we DO that??)

I don't know but I have always done that before vacation. Plus Sean had a bad day today-I will have to talk to you about that since I am pretty sure you can relate. He had a meltdown on a field trip thinking there was going to be a fire drill.

The day is here, we are on the road in 8 hours!!!!

I worked so late last night I don't hav anything to do now!!!

On a conference call yesterday they asked me if I could take the computer with me and work on the set up of the new software!!!! I said no, we are going to be out in the ocean!!! I am not going to waste one minute working. I told my boss I guess it's all his!!!

Yep, DCL called me yesterday to confirm our REAS package. The poor woman, I wanted to talk and talk and she had other calls to make I'm sure.

On a conference call yesterday they asked me if I could take the computer with me and work on the set up of the new software!!!! I said no, we are going to be out in the ocean!!! I am not going to waste one minute working. I told my boss I guess it's all his!!!

Getting the kids off to school, but they are wired today. Sam woke up and said to Jay, "Jay we are leaving for vacation today!"

We will be heading out at 3:00 to drive to Maine. Its only 3 hours so that isn't too bad. I'll be on the DIS tonight and tomorrow though. I will even get on from my BlackBerry from the airport and maybe even the plane before they tell us to "turn off all cell phones and electronic devices."

I'll be on and off most of the day today.

Getting the kids off to school, but they are wired today. Sam woke up and said to Jay, "Jay we are leaving for vacation today!"

OK, we're into the final push today too. One kid is off to school, the next is going out the door in 10 minutes! Beth is coming home from working her midnight shift. I am running out to the bank and post office (gotta mail the mortgage before we go). Then its off to work for a few hours.

I have pretty much packed all of my stuff. Beth takes care of herself and the girls. I just need to check out all the electronics. Top off the charges, clear memory cards, etc.

Awwwww - for Sean!!!! Poor guy. I'm sure after the meltdown he was embarrassed (Abby always is when she has one - but thankfully they have gotten SOOOO much better!)

Today is the day we leave! Going to pick up the rental car and do some last minute stuff. Girls are out of school again today... YAY!!!

Beth just got home and looked at the suitcases. Then she said that we don't have enough room and we need more suitcases! NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Beth is a chronic overpacker. Keep it lean. Take travel size shampoo, etc. TOO MANY CLOTHES!! Alas, its the same every time. This is why I like to drive to WDW. You can take the kitchen sink as long as it fits in the van.

But we aren't driving this time, and the space in the cabin is limited.

I haven't cut my grass in over a month. It has been turning brown since around Labor Day.

We continue to mow not because the grass is growing but to mulch in all those leaves that are falling. Way too much to rake and the leaf mulch is good for the ground anyway.
Luckily my boyfriend is going to do mine for me today and probably even again while I'm gone.

Sadly though he won't give ferret any love while I'm gone. Only basic feeding and cleaning up. Poor Rikki will be attention starved till I return.

I got a reprieve from my lawn mowing today. The grass is entirely too wet to mow. It won't dry in time for me to mow before I go to work. That makes my decision easier.
