10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #29

Douglas told me last night 'You know I need some alone time on this vacation' He is more of an introvert than I am.

I guess sometimes I can be that way too. It depends on the people too I guess.
Like at work.... I can't even take the conversations about sports, beer, union stuff etc. too much anymore. It's really getting old. Blue collar life..... like factory talk. And the girl back stabbing gossiping thing...

So at work, I am mostly introverted. I keep my headphones on for the entire 4 hours I spend at that place (before I have to work on the counter with customers).

Listening to WDW radio podcasts and DIS unplugged podcasts helps me maintain my sanity and happiness there.

But hanging out chatting with you guys! Well, I could go on for hours!

Although, I'm worried how my friend June is going to feel with me knowing all these people and her none of you. I hope she doesn't feel too overwhelmed by it all.

I may have to spend some girlfriend alone time (not like that Mike..... don't you even comment on this!) with her so she doesn't think we have to spend every minute with the Bob'ers

AAAaaarrrrggghhh! The HORROR!!

Beth and I went down for a "quickie" trip while our girls were visiting their grandparents. We stayed at Saratoga Springs. We took a dip in the pool before the Magical Express came to take us to the airport. While I was changing in the bathroom, I set my sunglasses down on the sink. I never picked them back up. I realized what happened 20 minutes later. Needless to say, they were gone. Nobody turned them in. They were Maui Jim's and I had just bought them about a month before this trip.

Unfortunately, they are not the first pair lost at WDW.

The last thing WE lost at WDW was a lot worse than a pair of sunglasses... we lost our digital camera! We went to breakfast at Coronado Springs one morning and the girls popped into the arcade there. After we ate, I noticed it was missing... went back and looked EVERYWHERE!!! No where to be found. The only good thing was that every night, we downloaded all the pictures to our computer and erased the memory card, so we didn't lose any pictures. (Had to take a trip to Wal-mart to get a new camera....)

Well Good morning everyone We are playing a trip to my SIL (that is where my little one is staying while we are gone) and then we might hit the apple orchard Stayed up late and worked on my dis tags Does everyone put their names on them?????? I think I will have everything ready and put the bags together on the ship--so they dont get squeeshed

That what I made for our last cruise tag gifts. Our green mickey head logo with the Konked Kruisers on it. I made them into ornaments.

OMG, though, I had to do I'm thinking we only did 20 last cruise?, I waited a bit too long to start them and then had to hurry to do 2 a week before we sailed.
My left wrist started going numb before I was done and I was afraid I'd developed carpal tunnel syndrome.

But boy did we ever all love that gift!

They even allowed that on tv back then?

You didn't even have to look very close either Rose.

I felt the same way for the Kk cruise Rose. I was a little worried about the kids. The DIS is my thing, not theirs. They handled it well although I don't think I really spent as much time as I wanted to with the KKers either. I asked them about it honestly, and none of them complained. Then again, they had each other too.

Please, wasn't she high half the time anyway?

Sure was! Maybe that explains the dress.

I left mine on the bus once, I was more concerned with getting my mom & sis off the bus!! I went to lost and found and it was there. I was so happy, we were getting on a cruise the next day.
