"Hair do" day for me today.... I have my usual stylist so hopefully it'll turn out ok this time... although its really annoying me trying to grow it into a bob again. I want a bob for the bob!

I'm getting my hair done today too.

Next Wednesday Rhee & I go for pedicures - we're getting Mickey & Minnie Heads on our big toes.

Going to Flint today to pick up my daughter--she is flying home from Louisana for 8 days---
Then its back home to finish up the last of the housework hubby will be home tom. after being gone for 5 weeks Not going to get much done this weekend as the kids & I have to spend time catching up w/ him~~~but next week~~~have to finish magnets, dis tags, and last minute stuff to get
Will be so glad when I'm sitting on that plane on my way to that ship

Just thought I would make a cameo appearance on the Dis Boards to say (Hi!) to all the BOBers going on the cruise in just over a week. We are getting very excited about the trip around here!!!

Hello Scott - I'm Nancy & my DH is Dan. This will be our first 7 day cruise & we're very excited!

I'm not Scott, but I'll chime in and say that it is 40 here right now and we have a freeze warning tonight!!!!

I can't wait to land in Florida next week!

Same here - it was in the 30's when we got up!

Tell her not to forget to pack the Ginger Snaps. I have extra if she forgets.

I bought a box yesterday but forgot to tell Dan they were for the trip! Guess what he did!

My hair turned out well considering I'm mid style and trying to grow it - easy to maintain too

Not except for Pirate night - and we'll probably wear the same thing for MNSSHP since it's just a T-shirt & pants, nothing fancy.

good morning everyone. Spent my last day off before the cruise working on Christmas decorations. I'm in full speed ahead mode now. I've got to have a handle on them early this year and I've been procrastinating a lot! I finished my leaping arches yesterday, now I have to get the Disney characters lit. That's been a bit more difficult, because I've been having a hard time finding the right lights for them. Hopefully after Halloween the stores will begin stocking them.

I just need to pass them onto Neil now

Just bought all of the stock of cold remedies etc from the pharmacy and am now dosed up to my eyeballs on paracetamol and decongestant etc..

Kids eh! gotta love em or you'd kill 'em

We are doing a software conversion too for the front desk software, supposed to go live Nov 1. They are just now realizing I won;t be there!!HAHA on them!! I am so glad my phone won't work on the ship and I am not taking the computer!!

It must be software conversion season!! We are upgrading our firm wide accounting software, but we are converting the back end from a Unix platform to a SQL server platform (that's for you there, Chaz!!) Thank goodness that it's almost a year long project and we are just in the infancy stages - so we have a long way to go.

Glad you will be on the ship when the go live is... LOTS Of headaches averted for you!!

The house was always the last to get any attention. I did get a cleaning lady the two times Roger deployed, it was too much to do with all the kids sports.

It is WAY too much sometimes (most of the time..) I agree with Joanne - the house is the last thing to get attention. I am going to have to hire a cleaning lady to do some cleaning before we leave for the cruise just so I won't come home to a dirty house!!!

Nope, I'm still there Joanne but I have absolutely nothing to do all day! I could start my work at 8 am and be done by 9! It makes for a really looooooong day. That's why I said my 3 days will seem like 6.

Like you though, I'm still grateful that I even have a job to complain about.

Do you at least have internet access during the down time?? If so, you can Dis and chat with us!!

That is my intent--if I can get home from Derek's swim meet in time.

I don't know how moms with jobs outside the home do it. My hat is off to you all.

That's why I have so many grey hairs & my housework reflects it.

Doesn't it seem like everyone is more in NEED of a cruise than the last one (KK1)? Even if you haven't been on KK1, were you this "ready" on a previous cruise? We are definitely more stressed in our daily lives and more "in need" of a getaway.

I know I am ready for this vacation, though I'm not ready with getting things done.

My girls are---but only cause they are wearing their princess dresses when they meet them-----so I guess they will wear those---

I may pull out a couple of costumes for Becca to wear when she's on the boat... she LOVES to dress up and she will still do it (Abby's too "cool" to do it now...)

I'm getting my hair done on Saturday. Still debating if I want to get it cut, because it's a good length. Getting it hilighted though - I love the volume/texture it gives my hair (I have Thin/Baby Fine hair!)

Love the idea about the Mickey Heads - I'm totally going to get that done too!!!!!! Abby and Becca coming to get their toes done too (going to do that on Wednesday as well!)

Cool!! We can't wait to see the pictures!! We have a friend that does their yard for Halloween like you do for Christmas... I need to go take some pictures and post them here.... it's really cool!
