On that same cruise Cass (October '07), guess who packed their tennis shoes on the last night & had to wear their dress shoes off the boat?

Of course, now I'm about 40 pounds lighter than that picture.

That is too flippin' funny. I can so see myself doing something like that.

It is Elizabeth. She only has her, Felicity and Kit. She bought Kit with her own money last Christmas when we went to NYC.

It is FREEZING here today. I love fall, but I'm not prepared for it yet, I still have all our summer clothes out! Guess it's time to do the switch. Maddie wanted to 'help' pack last night, so I gave her her own carry on tote for her toys, books, activities to keep her busy on the plane. Well, my little sweet pea dumped an entire box of 96 crayons into the tote, claiming it's 'easier' to use when she needs 'em.

Off to TRY and get some packing/organizing done, then it's off to karate for Maddie. Have a great day, everyone!

My grandparents live outside of Lancaster, PA in a little town called Leola. My grandfather has been in a nursing home for about 15 months now and my grandma gets lonely at times. I have a few vacations days that I need to use, so I am going down to keep her company. I will cook for her, watch Jeopardy every night with her, drive her all over the place, etc.

It's crazy there is a very modern supermarket less than a mile from her house, but outside there is a horse trough and shelter for the amish horses when they come shopping.

Here is a picture taken last year at my while down there Memorial Day weekend 2008.

We love Amish Country. We're about 2.5 hours away but we try to visit as often as we can. We were there about a month ago and was shocked to see so many farms have sold and are now communities with brand new houses! We love the outlets & farm stands - oooh and there's a smorgasbord that we LOVE called Shady Maple; they have great food! Now I'm craving it...

Hey I know that we are way tooo late for this game---but could I get a list of those participating in it-----We would love to join in and after all -----ITS MUCH BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE-----lol--my girls would get a kick out of delivering them to everyone!!!!!

If you have your camera - take piccies - I'm sooooooooo glad I took a few photos of hte house before we moved all the "stuff" in. Then we took more once it was all in - great memories

2 fer special with Verizon. It was time to upgrade,so after taxes and the fees to turn them on, it was $100 for 2 of them. Of course we have to get data plans to, so our bill is going up. But being a school employee I found out I get a discount, so back to the store with a pay stub.

Neils out tonight working til about 4am, Ellis will be in bed in 20 minutes and I'm going to run myself a hot deep bubble bath and soak til I turn into a prune.,...whilst polishing off a half bottle of merlot.... lifes gooooooood!

I miss a big bath on the cruise - those teeny weeny half baths are a killer when you like to relax - no room for a glass of merlot in one of those

Maybe when I'm rich I'll get a suite with a proper bath - what cat do you have to get to get a "proper bath". I'm guessing the Walt and Roys have a jacuzzi...I'm not jealous

I do all the time! Another thing I do is if a word starts with di, I wind up typing Disney,hmmm wonder why I do that.

I have had a Storm since February, and just bought Elaine a pink Curve last week. She loves hers! I never would have thought she would like a BlackBerry but she really does.

My Storm is really neat too.

We also get a discount through our employer as well.
