Look at this bag
Isn’t it full?
Wouldn’t you say it’s impossible to pull?

Wouldn’t you say I’m a girl, a girl who packed everything?

Look at my closet, it’s empty now
Wouldn’t my husband get really loud
Asking me what am I doing..

But I’m a girl who packs everything

I’ve got tag gifts and magnets a plenty
I’ve got signs that will cover my door
You want Disney t-shirts, I got twenty.
But who cares, for this cruise, I want more…..

I want to pack like the movers pack
Stuff all my suitcases, pay the air fee
How much does this weigh and what do you, what’s the word…. charge?

Dresses and swim suits only get so far
I need more shorts, sandals, buttons, toiletries
Even a pirate’s wench costume isn’t enough

Shlepping these bags
Won’t it be sad
When I can’t walk up onto the port

Going to sea
Our room will be
Stuffed to the brim

I don’t know when
I don’t know how
But I know checklists are starting right now
Watch and you’ll see
For 2013
I’ll start packing noooooooowwwwww

I Made It To 3000 posts!​

So for any of you who are interested here is my Milestone poem:

I'm told that milestones require a poem,
Otherwise Karen will scold,
Now, I've warned my poetry is loathesome,
But still, I've been cajoled.



It's been two years in the planning,
And we haven't long to wait,
With anticipation the kids are brimming,
So now it's up to fate.



Last we were the Konked Kruisers,
And that was a mighty fine time,
Now, we're known as BOBers,
And with new friends it'll be sublime.



Our party will be borne by Disney Magic,
To islands found in the east,
Are you groaning yet o'er this lyric?
I told you I was no artiste.



Halloween is the cruise theme,
And for many Mickey's party will be a blast,
Relax, no need to scream,
Not-So-Scary is the memory to last.



I hear Castaway Cay Call,
I cannot but pay attention,
To waves crashing as they fall,
And the gulls cry o'er the ocean.



Time has come for me to end this prose,
As it has caused much indigestion,
But to the challenge I've arose,
So, I conclude "Let's start the celebration!"

Abby got her new braces today (not a great picture of her - but will post some more tonight when we all get home). She chose pink, black and silver for her rubber bands

Hello everyone---
This is our 1st Disney Cruise--just found out about this site a few days ago---Wishing we would have found it earlier to join in all the fun stuff like the fish extenders---didnt know what they were until yesterday---lol---

Cruising will be myself, hubby and our 2 daughters----I think Im more excited than they are----Hoping to have lots of fun and enjoy meeting others on board!!!

Oops - meant to post this on # 1000 (but I was welcoming Wendi and her family)

Here is my poem for 1000 posts!! (Yes - it's cheesy and lame!)​

1000 posts in 3 months I have made, can't you see,
A lack of a real life that shows for me!

We joined the BoBers back in early June
they welcomed us openly - I'm over the moon!

Cass set up a website with great information
That will ensure we have a fabulous vacation!

There's Mike/Underdawg and his sweet Polly too
and a red tart visits the board once in a blue moon

Nancy and Chuck and kids are cruising out and about
While Paige and Rob are honeymooning without. (kids, that is!)

We have many many friends coming from across the pond,
Like Heather, Rick, Karen, Neil and Ellis, we're so fond!
We can't forget Sean, in case we get sick!
He'll take care of us all, lickety quick!

We've got some Virginians (well living there now)
There's Lori and Matthew, Beth, Angie and HOW!

Our retired friends Walt, Di, Dan and Nancy,
Will all enjoy getting dressed up all fancy! (right??)

Canadian friends are coming out all around!
Like Jennifer (2 of them), Bernie, their families abound!

Who else do we have? Why it's Chris and Elaine!
How could I forget them? That would be insane!

Leisha and Tom - they come from Kentucky….
Does they bet on the derby? Are they really that lucky?

Rose and her friend June are joining us as well
So sorry Bob will miss us, he sure sounds swell!

Wisconsin, the cheese state brings us so many,
Leaving someone off the poem would bring tears a plenty
Lisa (my neighbor), Chris, Cheryl and more,
Will all hopefully not be able to hear me snore….

Our friends who all live in a sunshine filled state,
Like Joanne and Steve and Gina - they are all great!

Our newest Bob additions, we like you all best,
Like Chaz, Queenie, Angela and all the rest.

Sheri and Janice - I almost forgot you
But how could I do that, after all we've been through (grasping for rhymes, here…)

I know there are more of our Bobers that lurk,
I hope not including you doesn't make me a jerk.

Are just some of the things that I can't wait to see

Welcome Aboard

Im Dan my DW is Nancy this will be our fourth Disney Cruise.
We are what we fondly like to say we are the retired seniors of the group along wit Di and Walt. Don't get fooled we are very young at heart

anyone else get the email from disney that they are having the DCL House Party again?
some of you may recall, we were selected to host a party a while back. (jan 08) We got lots of goodies.
Evidently the next party is scheduled for nov.14th.

i sent in an application. maybe we'll get picked again.
they will notify the people selected to host by oct 21.
