I've had a great idea re our luggage!

I wanted to take the rolling cooler to fill with wine and beer for the cruise...

However, it was too big to pack in a case, I had nothing to pack in it on the journey out... but I've just thought I can put Ellis's car booster seat in it and put it in the hold! - sorted!

Good afternoon everyone. I have not been able to post in about nine days due to a super busy schedule. We did get everything moved over to the new house. That turned into more of a chore than what I thought it would be, but it is complete. Now we just have to go through and unpack, so that we can begin to pack for this cruise. I am so ready for vacation. I have a few quotes to do, but then, I am going to try and post more often, and keep up with the times. I am stuck at work today checking trucks in and out. It is pretty slow, and I am only waiting for one more truck, but I have been here since five am. I just love getting paid to work nine hours on a Saturday. Lol.

I just checked the UPS site and they are goign to be delivered tomorrow!



YAY!!! (Sorry - seriously jumping up and down in my cubicle - almost gave away the fact that I'm not doing any real work! LOL)

Sounds like goofy4ever earlier this week. I had called her and she was sounding depressed because hers were not here yet. I thought she was going to cry. Lol.

It sounds like everyone is packed or have started packing! I'm SOOOOO way behind...I've only sorted some of Maddie's clothes but seem to just keep shuffling them around...no packing done.

LOL, me too - either that or I'll be the one with smoke coming out of my ears from frustration while trying to organize everyone from our traveling party...

I must be the worse procrastinator here; because I am still not packed, haven't even begun...and my FE gifts are still not done!

Hi! I'm Queenie, and I'll be sailing w/ DH, DD & a whole slew of our family will be there as well. I'm fairly new to B.O.B.; but everyone has been uber nice (& very funny ) so please stop by often! Looking forward to meeting you guys in a few weeks!!!

Do not feel bad. I just looked at my suitcases. I still have to go and buy dress clothes yet. And I know what you are saying about trying to get everything organized. We have the same issues, due to some of us driving, some flying, some renting cars, etc. It will be here before we know it.

Less than four weeks now! We have some complications which I hope will not keep us from going. Our fish extender gifts arrived on Friday. We also got our cruise docs that day.

My Christmas is only 26 days away (it happens on 10/24/09!!!!!)

I agree here. My biggest present will be the cruise!!

I booked two rooms 2 1/2 star last night on priceline for the night before the cruise and got the Country Inn and Suites - Cape Canaveral for $50 + fees for a total of $60 a room. Thought this was a good deal. Just called to request two beds and they said priceline rooms receive the kid suites which have a queen bed, bunkbeds and another twin bed. Shuttle is $4 per person.

That is not a bad deal. Do you know if they have free parking here?

Wow! Thanks for sharing that info! We'd change from the Radisson, but they are keeping our car there for the length of the cruise!

Good job though - that room sounds amazing!!

That is the major factor for us also. Free parking=more on board money.

Slow day on here today... I was expecting a few pages

I'm miffed with Neil.. he PROMISED not to work tomorrow.... and now he's going in again... I need to get out a photograph to show Ellis what his Daddy looks like

Sounds familiar. Ron is handing over the keys to a house today and I'm running the show home (our kids can come and go as it's three doors down from our house). Slow day today so that means I have time to catch up on the DIS finally and do the stuff I was hoping to get done today (fill out cruise forms on line, copy documents, snuggle and read to the kids, etc).

I see snow in the hills and it's a dreary day here. I'm so looking forward to warm weather.

anyone else get the email from disney that they are having the DCL House Party again?
some of you may recall, we were selected to host a party a while back. (jan 08) We got lots of goodies.
Evidently the next party is scheduled for nov.14th.

i sent in an application. maybe we'll get picked again.
they will notify the people selected to host by oct 21.

What is the DCL house party? How do you get involved?
