Seems like I've had a WW faux pas and called it a 'fad' diet, huh? :headache: I apologize to all who were offended. :flower3: I do appreciate all the info you guys are sharing.

That's the thing about message boards; no body language, emotions, emphasis on words, etc comes through.

Offended? Hardly. :grouphug: Excited to share how WW works? Definitely. No fad = long term results. Now, how many points in a dancing banana? :banana:

My two daughters are going to San Francisco for a long weekend Thursday. Kristen has never been. I have given her a tour list of things to do. Erika has been so she has some good ideas. Kristen's best friend is going too. They will have fun. Erika always takes Kristen on a sisters trip for her birthday. Her birthday was in December so they finally have time to go. I will be watching the grandkids all weekend being their taxi driver.

Nice:goodvibes They'll have a great time together. And you'll have special time with the grandkids:grouphug:

This is the closest that I come to that picture.

Of course, I didn't get a kiss like Walt did. :laughing:

Wow, that's cool:thumbsup2

I have been trying to catch up on the dis for the last 4 hours. (at least). I had not read it since Thursday. I went from the lap top to the desk top and now I am back to the lap top. Walt wanted his computer back.

Well we had a very busy weekend. Thursday we rode in rain and cold to 4 harley dealers. We got some really neat pins from each dealer. It is called a pin ride. Walt went back to the rally and helped the band get ready for the concert. That night I drove my car to help with the Hal Ketchum band at the rally. He was good.

On Friday, I made a mum for Asiah and a boutineer for Elijah for their homecoming game. They came out great. I have made them for Asiah and Elijah for the past 4 years. When dd (Erika) was in high school we made them for her whole dance team. So I must say I am very good at it. Asiah said hers was the prettiest and the best and Elijah said he was the coolest. Then on to the Harley rally to work with the Mustang Sally band. Before they went on stage we had to go to Walmart to get their supper, treats and drinks. Boy were they great in the concert. Great entertainers. Since we were band roadies we got to sit up front. Got home around 12 midnight.

On Saturday, we went to the rally site at 10 am. We had to pick up Joan Jett's guys that get her equipment all ready for concert. Then a couple hours later we picked her up, her manager and the Blackhearts from the airport. Watched the concert. It was rocking. Then right after the concert brought her and the band to the hotel they were staying at. Oh by the way, the hotel and airport were 1 hour away from the rally site. We were on the road alot. The manager said to Walt Driver is there a different road to take since we were in traffic. There was not. But how funny to call him Driver. We got home at 2 am. I was really tired. Went straight to bed after shower.

Today (Sunday)we slept in until 9 am. Sister and mother in law called and woke us up. We are not use to late nights on the town. We (kristen, asiah and elijah) went out to Chinese for lunch today. The food was yummy. They missed me. I had not seen them since Thursday. Today I brought Kristen my dd to Sam's. She bought a bunch of food. Got home and ate a fruit salad and read the dis and facebook. I sure have been busy. I have been on the computer since around 6 pm. All caught up. Ready to start another week.

Wow, what a cool weekend:thumbsup2

Oooooh! - I'm having a lovely morning!!!!!!!

:yay::yay::yay:

First I lose 2 1/2 lb at Weight watchers (thats a huge amount for me! - its normally 1/2lb if I'm lucky:rolleyes1), then I come home and Neils made me a treasure hunt around the house!!!!!!!!!

I'm running round like a 5 year old (squeeling the whole time) and find my cruise docs waiting for me at the end of the hunt:yay::yay::yay::yay:

Maybe my luck will continue! - I'm going to get a lottery ticket:yay::yay::yay:

Congrats on the weight loss:thumbsup2

What a fun hubby you have! That was cool!:yay:

Hey, where were you for chili?:confused3

Congratulations on the loss. I should make that soup soon myself.

Gina - LOVED the Amazing Race last night - those are my 2 favorite teams as well. The Globetrotter guys seems to be having a great time and are very entertaining! Love Zev and Justin - really interested in seeing how successful someone with Aspergers can be (oldest DD has mild form of it).

Have fun in San Fran!!!

I watched the show too. Usually I love it from the beginning but this one didn't grab me right away. Haven't quite decided who I'm rooting for but I do agree about those 2 teams. Hopefully by next week I'll have a stronger opinion.

Hello All!

So excited!!!

You guys are right on - no fad, just healthy eating. Life time since 2005!

Again, I am backtracking!

The costume I made was from lounge wear - white with black polka dots. I found headbands that were white with polka dots. Used one as a headband to hold the ears I made out of another one. A third I made into a tale and pinned it on!

FLASH FORWARD ... was great! :woohoo: It was the only new show that caught my attention this year. The rest of my television viewing are returning shows I have watched for years and a couple that have been on but I found more recently. I can't wait to see how FF unfolds. It looks like another good mystery story like LOST.

Don't tell me!
I haven't watched it yet:rolleyes1

I may not get to it at all until we are in rerun season again!:rotfl:

Well this morning is doctor time for me.. :scared1:

I will get all the results from my tests and see where the diabetes and thyroid are at, I was finally able to get a family doctor here in Okotoks and will finally have regular visits to make sure I am on schedual with things. I have been terrible and haven't had my tests done for almost 2 years since my diagnose :scared1: (Bad Bernie) I have this fantasy that the doctor will finally admit I need chemical help with my thyroid and give me a pill that will help the weight come off (been the same weight for almost 20 years no matter what I did).

Wish me luck!! lol :thumbsup2

LUCK!:wizard:pixiedust::shamrock::genie:

And hugs too!:grouphug::hug:
