Well, we got upgraded from our 12 GTY to a CAT 10. I'm happy with the room location and happy about the upgrade but not happy that we are in a connecting room

I will be trying to get an upgrade at the port I guess

Good luck at the port!

Received two category 9's connecting on deck two for our two 12's. Reports say they can be somewhat noisy from Wavebands above, but I am still very happy!!

So I just bought myself a Canon EOS Rebel XS. I know its big, bulky, but that is what I have always wanted. I rarely buy myself anything like this, so it is like an early Christmas gift for me.

I will be a big time shutterbug on this cruise!!!

Just talked to the TA. She called to ask which staterooms we preferred.

I told her deck 5 aft. That's where we were in Oct of last year. It was nice and quiet down there. I initially said deck 5 forward in the sideways cabins, but they are directly over the theater. Decided I didn't really want to be there.

So we'll see what we get.

We had deck 5 last time - right near the aft - it was a very quiet location - we loved it. If we hadnt got an SPH we'd have had that one again

What's the first thing everyone wants to do once on the ship? We will head to topsiders for lunch then swimming for the kids and the first of many ice creams for me. Yummo!

What is your most favorite food item on the ship? Mine would be the steak in Palo's. Followed by watermelon and ice cream.

Ellis loved his prezzies this morning - especailly the Nano - he was so excited

Just tidied his room and got the dining room all set up for his birthday buffet later. Only 4 kids so I should be ok with a few paracetamol

the ice cream stand and the cookies in the Cove. Yum Oh yeh, the strawberry smoothies. Wow. I can feel the weight coming on already.

I want to go to the Cove this time. I have never been there.

After having nothing but Internet outage after internet outage at my house today, I made everyone get off their computers and then swapped out our router with a new one. If this doesn't work I might be forced to go with a cable connection. (I don't want to do that because they'll want me to get cable tv and I really like my satellite.)

We have satellite TV and cable modem. It makes tbe cable connection pricier, but we don't want to switch to cable just to get the package at the moment. So, you shouldn't have to get cable tv.

Probably the same! Although, I know the girls will probably want to hit the pool ASAP!

I was thinking, with Megan turning 12, can she be the supervisor of her sister in the pool or do I need to be there too? I know under 12 can't be at the pool along. Just wondering.

Sarah would probably say "Watermelon!" That was her favorite on our first cruise. After she got a headache a dinner the second night, our server asked if there was anything she liked that he could get ready.(She gets migraines if she has too long between meals and we were on the late seating.) He brought watermelon everynight shortly after we were seated...even if he had to get it from one of the other kitchens! Sarah thought it was great when watermelon was finally on the menu at dinner toward the end of our cruise.

Hmmm.. forgot to say what my favorite is! I'm having a mental block. I know there was something from one of the snack places .... I think it was panini. I like the pizza and chicken tenders, too. But those are kind of ordinary foods. I really enjoy branching out my food choices in the dining rooms.

Now you all seem to be getting your room numbers could you please pm Jen and I with your final cabin numbers when you have them as I know some of you are looking at upgrading etc.

Jen's "re-jigging" the final list once they are all in then we can all print it to take with us. I will have a few spares, but not many so please remember to take yours with you!

PLEASE NOTE -

Some people are hoping to upgrade at the terminal. Once you have printed off the tag sheet there may still be alterations if people get last minute upgrades at the Port. Upgraders - Please make sure you tell Jen and I if you get an upgrade asap so we can let other taggers know at the Bob meet. (otherwise some lucky stranger will be getting your 28 gifts)
