awesome pic sofar..lol sorry I am curenntly trying to fit wedding stuff onto a 1 gb drive.. thought I had a 2...sigh... he is moving to Korea to teach english and I was the only one who took a video of his wedding..lol

I'd be uploading pics right now BUT:

As I was dising here this morning I absentmindedly reached over without LOOKING to insert my photo card into the correct slot in my computer and put in the WRONG slot! A MUCH BIGGER SLOT! IT FELL IN!

So now as soon as I catch up here I'll be turning off the computer, opening it up, pulling out the card reader slot and digging out my card!

I am computer challanged and Dh bought me a wireless card, I just turn on the computer & camera and they magically appear in a folder on the computer!!!

We're in deep Doo Doo!

I'm ready to scream....It appears our travel agent or DCL made a big boo boo. They currently have us in a cat 12 instead of a GTY cat 12. We're hoping it's just a minor mistake that can be fixed.

If it can't...Small World travel is getting an earful.

Ok, done getting the card out of the computer

Can I just say:


What a pain in the @%%!

Had to call Sean (woke him up twice) a few times to figure out:

how to get the case open

how to get at the drive slot that was behind a metal bar

how to unscrew it when 1 screw is stripped

So when that wouldn't come undone and finally finangled getting the drive out between all the other mess of cords and wires etc.......
started shaking the stupid card reader to get my photo card to come out!

Literally shook it for about 10 minutes and was about to cry that I'd never get my card out

Finally it fell out!

Then the card reader cord became disconnected from the mother board and I had no idea where that connected to

Called Sean again..... sent him photos from my cell phone....
pulled out the manual for the motherboard....

Finally got it plugged in.....

Then waiting to see if the computer would turn back on again or if something else got disconnected while I tried to shove that old card slot back into it's place

Yay So far everything has turned back on ok, as you can see



Ok, I think I'm about ready to insert my card THE CORRECT WAY and see if it or the reader were not totally damaged by all my shaking.....

Had a lovely afternoon - went for lunch at our friends. They go to Disney the same time as us so I helped them re-jig their itinery etc. The kids got on great so they are coming to the villa while we're over there.

Busy day - Neils parents are due any minute - bringing Ellis' birthday prezzie over tonight - A Birmingham city football strip
