OK, can MG brag a little here? I just got off the phone with Kristin (DD who lives in AZ just in case some of you don't know) and she has been selected to be a therapist in the Ford Ironman Triathlon in Arizona on November 22nd this year. (It's also their first wedding anniversary) That's pretty darn good for someone who is still a first semester student. She was picked along with someone else from Phoenix. Only two students were chosen from the entire state!!! She won't be working with any of the top athletes though because they all bring along their own therapists.

Also, I'm thinking Jesse (Kristin's DH) may actually be participating in the triathlon too. Not sure, but when I asked Kristin, she just laughed and said "You never know mom". That sounds like a yes to me!

Gosh...am I ever proud of those kids!

Sorry kids, just had to brag a bit. Carry on.

They're doing fine Joanne. Both of them are very homesick though. Kristin is loving school though and doing very well with it. At least I talk to her either on the phone or Skype just about every night. I think we talk more now than we did when she lived a couple miles away from me.

It's a great restaurant right on the channel at Port Canaveral. It sounds like Joanne offered to take you and Nancy there. You will enjoy it if you do.

I'd keep it a secret for about a minute. You know how many mini-meets I would have in there. Don't think I could fit everyone in at once.

Even if I couldn't do that, if I knew someone was dying to see the room, I would make arrangements to get them in.

Although, I did see AFEG's sideways Cat 3, and that was an awesome room. I'd probably just save the $ and go for that if I was going to book one.

I've been running around today.. returning things, buying gifts, blah blah.... soon I'll be off to drop DS at a b-day party in the mall, do a little shopping.

Then I can come home, relax and have a glass of champagne

No special occasion - just left over from the anniversary. I think I'll drink to - 42 more days!!!!!

Why not just go to the DCL site?

That's because you are probably putting in 4 people. They only hold 3. When checking rooms, you should do it as 2 people. This way the # of beds won't matter and all rooms will show.

With regards to Skype, isn't there a licensing issue going on and the current company who owns it may lose their right to it next summer?
