Nope, since they need to move the ship up to open cheaper lower cabins, they'll work from top down. Which Cat did she have a guarantee in? if it was 5 or 6 then they would have assigned her as soon as they opened up cabins my moving those interested to Cat 3 or 4. If she had a lower cabin then it's probably just the right time to make the changes. Remember there are LOADS of 8,9,10 and 11's available. assigning someone into one of those will be easy.

I was going to check when I was looking at rooms but forgot.

She's in a Cat 7.

The rumor on the boards is that rather than jumping right to the free upgrades, Disney has been calling people with offers of cheap upgrades. Then if need be they will do a round of free upgrades. The calls for paid upgrades have been starting at about 6 weeks out. The offer rumored is thought to be $50 per night per type of room upgrade. Room types being Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, Cat 4, Cat 3, Cat 2, Cat 1.

Since I'd be happy with an upgrade to verandah, I'd be expecting an offer of about $350 or about $200 cheaper than what I can get it for right now. If there was a Cat 3 available and I wanted that, it would be a 3 room type upgrade and would cost me about $1050.

It may take a day or two for us lowly cat 12 GTY'ers to get our cabin assignment but I bet it happens either today or tomorrow!!!

If any of you have higher GTY's, you should already have your cabin # or should be getting it today

Hi everyone!

Just checking in and saying, "Hello!" Pat and Austin are off on a boys trip this weekend so I'm doing fun stuff like cleaning and laundry! Blick! Dakota will be home soon-he's taking his ACT with the writing this morning! The college of his choice wants it. Hopefully that will be his last hoop to jump through and we'll know by the cruise if he is in or still has more hoops!

Called DVC and booked our Spring Break trip for Disneyland at the Grand Californian Villas! One more Disney trip to look forward to!

Did anyone get upgrades yet? I'm thinking happy thoughts for you!!
