Well, I completed my first full day as Charge Nurse for the ED. It was busy and I kept having problems after problems. I managed to make it through w/o any serious issues though.

I did manage to completely p*ss off the head MD of cardiology. (however, I ended up being right which is it's own reward) and Annoying the snot out of the assistant medical director for the ER. But all in all I had a successful day. Let's see if they ever let me do it again.

Great job Steve!! I bet it felt great when you found out you were right and the head MD was wrong

Now - I don't like pudding, but I do like brownies, cherries and chocolate! Can't wait to try it! I always remember one of the Thanksgiving episodes of Friends where Rachel makes a trifle, but the cookbook pages got stuck together and she mixed some REALLY nasty stuff together (but Joey kept eating it!)

Looks yummy!! I remember that episode, didn't she have peas and cheese and chocolate in it???

I hope everyone has had a great looooong weekend
I have spent a lovely weekend with good friends (Cass) and my hubby today we are putting up the last gate to finish our yard so soon we will be able to let the dog play outside with out her leash on..lol
This month is gonna fly by for me because it is time for inventory at work... then it will be 2 weeks till we leave!
I still have to packand such but I am not worried.. we have a week before hand to pick up anything we might have forgotten..lol

I need to get my butt on the elliptical soon!! all my injurys prevented me from loosing any weight! but at least I will get my stamina up so I can get ready for walking the parks all day! OMG!!!! I am going on vacation in less than 6 weeks... WOOHOO!!!!!

It was a fun weekend wasn't it?

Cassie and Kip have been watching old WDW home movies this weekend.
wow..somewhere along the way i really got old. but Robin keeps getting better looking.

Must be nice to have them home I would love to sit and watch old Disney movies with my parents!!

For those of you who are thinking about getting buttons made, sorry to say but the Walmart in the USA doesn't do them. Only the Canadian Walmarts have them.

Perhaps there is somewhere else you can get them done? Walgreens? Kinkos???

Now I just have to find the buttons on the Walmart website. I am having terrible luck finding it!!!

I got mine at Michaels craft store. I also saw them at AC Moore.
They were under $1 a piece. I think .50

Happy birthday Harrison!!! Bet you are glad you don't have to go to school today!!!

We are getting ready to leave for our potluck/bbq - but it looks like it will be inside since it's dreary/rainy here. No big deal....will have anyways. I just looked at the weather channel and it looks like it's going to rain all day tomorrow - for the kids' first day of school... Oh well - better make sure to pack an umbrella for them!
