Hi all,

Busy this weekend.

Spoke to a women from a Golden Retriever Rescue site- they have 55 dogs just from the southern California fires that need homes, plus they have been raiding puppy mills, so there are a tone of dogs that need new homes. Somehow we went from not thinking about doing this until after October to having an appointment on Saturday to see the ranch where the dogs are on Saturday. Yikes!

When I asked Sean what he thinks his favorite part of the cruise will be he said "The place where no adults are allowed."

That's my boy!

I just told Harrison that a bunch of people that are going on Mickey's boat have said happy birthday to him. He just looked at me like I had 2 heads. Then I told him to look at the smilies from Mike. Now he just keeps repeating "Mike?" "Who's Mike?" "Where is Mike?" I know he has said your name about 50 times in the past 2 minutes!

So funny that my college kid is so straight laced, unlike me as a high schooler and then college kid. I must have done something right I guess
Except that sadly he is having a hard time finding kids like himself to hang out with in college, so far it seems like they are all partying kids and sadly much more than beer

He had an easier time at Florida Tech, there were so many kids like him.... just straight laced geeks, math and engineering whizs, at least the ones he knew (like all his roommates) none were social, dating, drinking, smoking.... etc. they all just hung and played video games and went online a lot.

Now at Buffalo University, it's much different. It's definitely more of a partying school, well it does have 29000 students

I'm feeling badly for him, he seems not to have found any friends yet.
Although his RA was inviting him to a gaming party yesterday and I told him perhaps he'd find other like minded kids there.

Thanks, don't worry he will find his own group of friends. My youngest is definatley the social one, but he is enjoying life and doing ok in college, not as well as he should but what can you do.

We played tourist and well to Margaritaville for lunch before leaving Panama City and the college kids heading back, we has two heading back to FSU, three to UF and one to Tampa. I have to admit they wore me out, between cooking and staying up late I am ready for a good night sleep tonight!!

We are watching the FSU game right now, I hope I don't see ds # 2 painted!!! He was going back straight to a pre game party!!
