Chris,

We used to have an italian festival in NY, OMG the food was so good. What I wouldn't do for some good NY pizza, zepole & italian ice!!!! They also had great fire works.

Harrison and Julia giggled the whole time.:lmao: I told Harrison that his wife, Robin, will be there too. He then said "And Batman too?" :rotfl: He got a Bat Cave with Batman and Robin for his birthday.

thats better.:thumbsup2
if Robin is Robin...that makes me Batman.:cool2:

Good Evening All!!! We were camping this weekend and the weather was fabulous!!! Had the kids at the beach every day and I was thinking of all the beaches we will be checking out in just over 1 month!

There are almost 40 new papges since I was on here Friday. Lots of catching up to do.

Kids are off to school tomorrow...:goodvibes It will be nice and quiet around here for a change.:rolleyes1

I finished Rhee's shirt tonight so I thought I'd share the finished product. This is the back:

The BOB logo is on the front.

This is fun! Although I had a little 'mishap' with the first shirt (didn't cut out the 2009 logo before ironing )- glad I bought extras.. :rotfl::rotfl:

Nice job!!

Even thought we have ownership in the Wilderness Lodge and Saratoga Springs Chris we love staying at Old Key West because as Nancy says its like living in a retirement community and it very quiet and if you want to go to the Kingdom you can catch the bus there or take a boat ride to Down Town Disney and go from there.
A bit of Triva OKW was the first DVC Resort. Of course since then they have made many changes to update.
Some time when your down there Chris take a day a travel to some of the DVC Resorts I think you would like them. Oh yes our other favorite is Beach Club Villas.

We just stayed at Saratoga Springs a few weeks ago. It was very nice. Our home resorts are OKW and Beach Club! My favorite will always be the original.:goodvibes It just feels more like "home". Matthew likes BCV because of the proximity to EPCOT. But, since we bought at OKW (when it was the only DVC and not even named Old Key West) before we even owned a home, I'm kind of partial to it! The site is beautiful and away from the frenzy plus, the rooms are bigger than the newer sites. It really does feel like going "home" instead of to a hotel.:cloud9:

Thanks Angie! I think I'm doing OK so far.. like I said, it's a good thing I got extra supplies!! :)

I agree about the girls -- I think they will be 2 peas in a pod! :thumbsup2

Good morning all!!! Just a lazy last day of summer for us today (NOT!!!!!)

:rotfl2:Actually, we are working on cleaning the house and getting the girls ready for school. They are enjoying just laying in bed in their pjs watching tv (I hear them both giggling with each other right now - LOVE that sound!

We have a get together with some of our church family later this afternoon and I made my famous pasta salad (well - not famous.... it's just what I ALWAYS make for get togethers!!) I also made something called a Black Forest Trifle. Here is the picture!!

The trifle definitely looks good!

We are also getting ready for the first day of school. We had the last of the friend visits for the summer

The girls are in bed now, hopefully asleep. I have to finish up a bit of laundry so Megan's shirt she wants to wear for the first day of school is ready. She's changed her mind a million times in the last two weeks. Had to make a run to the store for lunch food for her. She doesn't want to worry about the line and timing of lunch with starting Middle School. So, they went to bed a little later than intended. 6:30 am will come too soon! (well, as I was writing this, Megan came down and said she has been reading for an hour, turned out her light but can't get to sleep.:confused3 I have no suggestions for her. She says she is just not tired!)

Gotta run and try to get her settled again.

Very, Very Nice. Great Job!:thumbsup2

Evening all. Just checking in. Seems like a quiet weekend. Only about 450 posts since mid-day Thursday.

Karen,

Happy Belated B-day. Sorry I couldn't post on your actual day. Didn't have internet access.

Hope you had a great day.

Karen, loved your photos:thumbsup2

Those coasters looked great!

I agree with you too about those circular rides, I can't do those either, get very sick. And I also won't do wooden roller coasters, they hurt too much.

I hear you about the wood coasters hurting. Did a number to my back 2 weeks ago up in the Dells on a wood coaster. Still hurts. right into the lift on the smallest coaster it jerked back and did my back in. Thankfully it just did something to the muscles and not the discs. It immediately hurt where I had my back surgery 5 years ago.
