Good morning everyone....

Hope all is well. Its a typical August day here in New England. It's something though, fall seems to come pretty fast here. Before we know it, it won't be short weather and we will be wearing hoodie's and jackets.

Morning all! In my all day meeting again right now - trying to sneak some time to surf the DisBoards! :-)

Matthew - talked to Dave and his mom last night and not sure we are going to be able to make the meet later in the afternoon.... Dave's mom is the caretaker for his dad (who had esophagus cancer) and i think she needs to be home by 5 to take care of him (replace the current caretaker)....we were planning on being at Leesburg at around 11 am and leave around 2:30.... stil working details, but will send you and Beth PMs later today when I get more info....

Well, I'm bringing Algae and Little Red.

June is bringing her Tigger.

She hadn't been to any Disney parks in her life until this past Easter. She said she felt deprived of her childhood experience and so bought a Tigger and took it everywhere with her (even though her husband and teenage son teased her about it all the time).

She asked me if she could carry it around on the cruise or if people would make fun of her and I told her about those of you with mascots and even writing trip reports with them. I told her how she'd be in good company:grouphug::tigger:

Sorry guys, I'm days behind and trying to catch up.

It'll be slow.

Tonight have to finish shopping with Sean and tomorrow am driving him to Buffalo for orientation and move in day.

Friday after I work yet another 10 hour day, Bob and I are traveling to MA for a concert at Tanglewood. But I have to work the next day so we're driving back that same night.

Maybe I'll catch up on Sunday:rolleyes:

Nice day here to. Weatherman says its going to be in the 80's today with very little humidity.
Just got through trimming branches from our Maple tree in the front yard and now I have my grandson cutting them up and loading into the truck.
He is trying to earn some money for the upcoming hockey season. New equipment you know:rotfl::rotfl:. And of course Nana and Grampy always have something for him to do . Help mow lawn ect.
.

Sorry Karen - just keep the sunny disposition - and remember that Florida is less than 58 days away (maybe even sooner!!) :cool1:

1 week less for us - we fly out 17th:cool1:

I don't think that I've mentioned recently how much "I LOVE THE DIS!"

I was surfing around and saw a banner that took me to the Disney website that has the public booking code of FSC.

I just saved $80 AND upgraded my room at POR to a waterview (I won't have to look at the parking lot.)

I was surfing thorugh loads of sites today such as Boggy creek etc. Not doing Disney or Univ this time will give us more time to enjoy other stuff we've never done before.[/QUOTE]

We went to Boggy Creek last time and went on the airboats, it was really good.

It's so close now Karen :cool1:

49 days till Disney for us :woohoo::yay:

Thanks. It's a tradition that we started with Our WDW 2006 trip. Last Christmas we suprised the kids with our Feb WDW by putting a countdown chain in a box and having them unwrap it.

Stuart and Leah take turns cutting off the links and they look forward to it each day.

We even have milestones for the chain. First Milestone is when it is a long as I am. (We know that it's getting close) Then when it is as Tall as Stuart. Then when it is as tall as Leah. (That's packing time!)

What a great idea Steve:thumbsup2

Same for us - has been all day:sad2:

Whats the forecast for the weekend up by you? - we're coming to York on Sat for 3 days

If you're coming north then bring your brollie. Someone at work said this was the weather for the week end, they are going to the Leeds festival.:scared1:

Good deal Steve.

If you want a recommendation on room location to put in for a request, let me know. There is a certain building/location that worked out well for us.

Do you want to be in the Mansion or Bayou area?

We went to Kohl's tonight to get the kids their sneakers for school. While walking out of the shoe department, I pointed out a pair of Adidas flip flops that had gel soles to Elaine. I said to her, "these would be great for you on the cruise" She of course pulled it down, slipped it on and said, "wow, I want these" Luckily they were on sale, but as Mike says, "maybe I'll get a smoochie tonight!"

Well?? you get a smoocher??:woohoo:
oh thats right, a gentleman never "smoochers and tells".:cool2::laughing:
