10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #26

Good evening everyone. Jay and me just got back from an evening at the beach. Elaine and Sam went to Montclair, New Jersey to see the Arts Conservatory Finale. We have a youth that is involved so Elaine went with her parents for support. Tomorrow, I will go and pick her (the girl) up. Its a pain, but they won't let her leave tonight as they have some things to do tomorrow prior to the Conservatory to offically be over.

we'll be at the raddison waiting for bobbers to show up.

We will be there around 6:00 as long as the flight isn't delayed and we get our car in a timely fashion. I have Fast Break, so it should be quick.

Are we all going to Grill's the night before the cruise?

We will be there! My mom said that is one thing she does not want to miss out on! She said she is having dinner at Grills no matter what time we get in.

It was planted there to make me crazy.

Actually, there is a moving company right across the street from us and they often bring in trucks that advertise for Disney. Today they also had a really cool Harley semi. I was in a meeting so I couldn't run out to snap a picture of that one.

Can someone tell me how the heck I was supposed to get any work done today at work with this parked right outside my window.....ALL DAY?

we're thinking of skipping a couple just so we can go on moonlite walks around the ship.
i've been promised smoochers, and smoochers i shall have.

We came back on Wednesday from Stratford and went to the Black Country Living Musem - it was really good. Sean went down the mine but Olivia and i were too scared so we went to the school and had a lesson there

Well, we didnt make it to the zoo.

Ellis spilt a whole pint of chocolate milk over yet another one of our cream carpets

By the time I'd "rescued" the carpet it was too late to go.

Kids,.... gotta luv 'em or you'd kill 'em

I'll probably go to Tesco and do the big shop instead

Not my idea of a great day out

Hope the carpet is cream again. Week before last I came home to not 1 but 2 full pitchers of red Kool Aid spilt. The first one was on the floor so they made another. (They had "cleaned up" the first one) The next one was on the counter. It went down the front, into drawers, into cabinets, between the cabinets and fridge.......To say the least I was not a happy mommy that evening. I just keep reminding myself......I love Julia, I love Julia, I love Julia.

We will be too because that is the only way Tommy is going to get me off the ship.

We probably won't be rebooking. Because we are saving every penny after the cruise for our trip next year. Steve, I'm with you on hoping the dollar gets stronger.

So, what's everyone doing this weekend? I am going dress shopping with my mom tomorrow....

We are going to an akikah. It is a ceremony celebrating a babies birth. One of the physicist I work with is from Pakistan and her baby is now a year old and they are having the party this weekend. I even get to dress in their traditional clothes. We went to one last year for her 1st childs 1st birthday. It is alot of fun. So we can't wait.

Lots of luck. We have a memory foam mattress and I hate it. The foam rubber in the mattress makes me too hot at night.

We went looking for new mattresses tonight. I was wondering about the memory foam. I thought it would be too hot. Now I know we won't go in that direction. Thank you.

Howdy everyone!!! Hope your day has been going good! I'm so happy it's Friday and I'm ready for the weekend!

I took DD #1 and a friend to see the new Tween movie "BandSlam" - it was REALLY good and not too cheesy! (Predictable, yes. Cheesy - not TOO much....)

Big plans for the weekend - we are going to work on our FE and our FE gifts. We went and got some more items to help create our gifts today and the girls are excited about helping. Can't wait to share them with you all!

Still feverishly working on door signs. There are some awesomely talented DiSsigners who are super generous and do special requests for free. So happy they are here.

Well - off to troll the DiSsigns board - to get MORE ideas on how to cover my cabin door!

We went looking for new mattresses tonight. I was wondering about the memory foam. I thought it would be too hot. Now I know we won't go in that direction. Thank you.

Good luck in the mattress search. I have to agree about the memory foam. We just got the 3 inch mattress "topper" from Costco to add to our mattress and it took some getting use to. We got it in winter, so we didn't really notice the heat at first, but on warm nights, I can tell it does keep the bed temperature a bit higher....

Tis why I am personalizing all the signs!!

DH keeps reiterating that he wants to RELAX on the boat and I keep telling him that me planning and decorating all this stuff IS relaxing (for me, anyways!)
