Hiya N...I'm here now. Just been out to deliver some leaflets for a community fun day next week.

:scared1::scared1:That sounds nasty. Have a good time at the fair. Have a candy apple on us.

We're spending the day in today. Got usual houseowrk to do. Tonight we are going to have dinner with my Friend Marion (Marion Cabs) and her fella, Dave.

The only thing I'll be eating on a stick at the fair is a fruit-kabob. I don't like much of the food there at all and my crabby colon reminds me of it all the time. Not only that but when I weighed in at WW yesterday I was down 4.2 pounds. So I'm motivated!! I'll be drooling though when I see Chuck eat his Cinnamon Roll. (No Dawg....not that kind!:scared1:)

oooh...and my wii motion arrived today, so we're be trying this out too.

Have fun with it. We got Wii Resort last weekend and we love it!

And Rick's gotta cold....Man Flu of course.:rotfl2:

Ahhhh, I know it all too well. :rotfl2:

My :sail: work is done for now. Later people.

Nancy....Good Work. You are an inspiration to us all. Take some pics whilst you're there.

Now I must go. Housework calls.

Been doing some preparations for our TOAL next Sept on the Magic Repo Cruise. Looks like $800 to fly out, hotel for two nights and a little bit of spending money, and that's even before we've stepped on the ship.

It is absolutely amazing how fast the vacation expenses add up. I'm floored every time I try to make up a budget.

Good morning everyone...

A somewhat busy day for us today. Elaine just left to go shopping with our neighbor at Old Navy. I think she is looking to pick up some more cruise attire. This afternoon, she has to drive to New York to take a teenager from the church to a Arts Ministries Conservatory for a week. This afternoon, I have to pick up camp staff who are on a break. The good thing is, I should be back home about the time the game starts this afternoon.

I know. The £ took a bit of a dive on Friday. Rick thinks we should've purchased some dollars on Wed when it was a good rate for delivery in October. Oh well.

:confused3 Baseball or Football? Our Soccer season started today.:sad2::sad2: Glad Rick isn't a sports fan otherwise I'd be a football widow today.

Paige- where is that clip are thread you were talking about? I can't seem to find it?

I didn't read back to see which one Paige was referring to, but here's one:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2147014

Also, there's one person posting - milliepie - and she has a link in her siggie to her photobucket with TONS of clipart and designs.

There are also several people on the creative DISigns board that post links to their photobucket accounts for people to use Mickey Head designs, etc.

That's the one!

It was Joanne who was looking for a Captain Mickey I think. I'm glad Jen came on to tell her, although I don't know if they had what she was looking for....

Ah ha.

Funny how that hindsight thing works. I was thinking i should have done the same back when I was first planning our London trip. Then the Dollar was worth .69 pounds now it is .59. I told Laura that while we may have gotten a deal on getting to London, we'll go broke trying to eat.

Good morning everyone. My son now keeps asking me to click on '13' so he can see the Darth costume. Your photo made his day.

Well, my Brother Stuart stopped by today and tried on the Darth Vader Outfit. He looked pretty good. We went over exactly what we'll be teaching the Padawan's and how he should react to the soundboard statements.
'

Your brother makes a very good Darth Vader :thumbsup2 I've seen some very short DV's over the years :rolleyes1:lmao:

Good morning H

Yup, it's me, up at the butt crack of stooooopid on a Saturday.
What's up for the weekend? Anything fun?

We're heading to the Wisconsin State Fair today and then tomorrow up to the Wisconsin Dells for the day. We like to get to the fair early to avoid some of the crowds. We used to able to stay from open to close but that's when the kids were little and they went on all the rides and played tons of carnival games. Now we don't even go to that part of the fair since I'm not crazy about riding on rides that travel the country. Just too many things go wrong.

When I was a teenager I had hair down to my waist. I went on a ride that hung you upside down for a while and my hair got stuck in the gears. They had to cut me out of it. Talk about tears! Not only was my scalp bleeding from the hair getting yanked out, but I ended up with a Pixie hair cut after that because of the chunks that were ripped out. :scared1::scared1:

I'm really surprised that I still love rides of all kinds, especially ones that go upside down. :cheer2:

OUCH!!!! Poor Nancy! I'm surprised you go on any rides now like you said!! :rotfl2:

I don't like the travelling kind either :scared1: I used to ride them all the time when I was a teenager and now I won't even go near them!!! :sad2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:You're welcome to it.

BTW...will you be having an ironing service whilst on the BOB?:rotfl2:

Yeah, good idea Heather....Nancy, when's a good time to drop off all my ironing for you to do on the cruise? :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

That's a big reason why, I'm not Darth Vader. Stu is 6'3" He's a bit big around the middle but the costume hides it well.

The force is definitely with him then!:rotfl:
