Well I am all caught up on this thread. I am pooped. We rode around Badlands National Park today. It was beautiful. Check out our pictures on facebook. One more day here then on to our next destination. Billings Montana for one night. It has been alot of fun here in South Dakota. beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife and mostly good weather. And lots fo motorcycles to see. We have rode every day while we were here. Lots of great rides. It rains off and on all during the day here. I am getting to be a pro putting on my rain gear and boots on the side of the road. Walt is just now going to sleep and I think I shall follow. I think we will have a nice day in Custer State Park. It has lots of tunnels, curvy roads, wildlife etc. We will need to pack our suitcases again tomorrow night so hopefully I will have time to read. I dont want to get behind again. Talk to you all later. Dan and Nancy Red Sox better do better tomorrow. Right.

Well, Birthday Party is done. It was a rousing sucess. I'm uploading the Jedi Training Academy portion of the party, now. When It's up, I'll post it.

Sunny Sunday is here!

Hello everyone!! I've been reading this thread(s) off/on for months. Thanks for all the helpful info. This is our first time to be on the Disboards
before our cruise.

We are from Texas; Larry and Leona, Kaylee 18 and Hannah 11. Our first time at Disney was a land/sea combo 4 yrs ago on the Wonder. We were so in love with the cruise that we all said at the same time, "next time I want to skip the parks and go on a longer cruise!" So, 2 yrs later we did, taking a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. This year, of course, we are on this Eastern cruise for a week but the closer it has gotten the more we all would like to re-visit the parks. So, we are trying to work it out to fly down a week early and go to the parks.

Jeff, I got your msg about adding us to the list but I can't seem to find it. I'm not the most computer literate person. Any suggestions?

Thanks again for everyone's helpful info on everything Disney!!! I still haven't read all the threads, but I'm trying!

Leona

:welcome: Larry and Leona, Kaylee and Hannah

Oh ok, hahaha Disney geek would have been cute too :goodvibes

Chocolate covered bacon....that's def a NO NO. Just wait until Mike see it.

:scared1::scared1:Oh my Nancy and you let him eat all that. Rick's heart is ticking wildly at the thought of all that fat!

I wanted to share a couple of pictures of the girls in the Mickey Mouse Postcard dresses. Sooooo excited. THey are a little big on them, but I can take them in with my sewing machine (that's about all I know how to do! LOL)

They look lovely Angie.

We did have a great time until the weather got too hot. I just checked my stepometer and I clocked 17,673 steps today!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

All those steps and you didn't sucumb to any treats. Great going Nancy.

OK peoples...

I need a pick me up... I kinda feel in a rut with the cruise stuff.. I know I have stuff to do... but why can't I get myself motivated to get it done??

I should be soooo excited.. yet all I can think of is what I need to get done.. yet I have no clue where to start.. arg

maybe if all my family was around at the same time so we could actually talk about it  I sometimes feel like I am all alone planning stuff.. if it weren't for Cass I would have been in a corner in tears with everything that had to be done..sigh.. the woman is a saint! :worship: what do you get for a saint as a thank you gift btw?..lol

Oh Bernie....chin up girl. If it wasn't for me, then we wouldn't be meeting up with this great group of people, doing FE, dining with friends, etc. You've hit a point everyone gets to where the cruise is still 2 months away and it's not getting here quick enough. From here on in....time will just fly.:hug:

:woohoo: Oohhh ... I LOVE Pampered Chef. Okay, and peach pie too but I'm now trying really hard to lose weight. I don't want to have to buy new clothes because the ones I got in January don't fit me. Cody and I ventured out to see how long it would take us if we walked to school. We discovered that it's 4km each way and it took us 45 minutes to get there. A good 1/3 of the way is down a curvey road with narrow shoulders, which meant that every time a car came we had to hit the ditch ... which slowed us down quite a bit. That and our poochie decided to go for a swim in the creek and we had to wait for her. I'm thinking that it isn't the greatest road for walking to school on. The other major factor would be the 4km walk back home with the last 1.5km being up a steep hill. I think that we'll have to continue to drive to school and I'll have to do my walk after dropping the kids off. I'm determined to lose weight but I'm thinking the 8km roundtrip walk to school won't be happening any time soon.

Are you going to do this everyday?

Here's our purchases today...

My pins...:banana::banana:

I have dibs on the upside down Mickey! :rotfl2:

I love pampered chef too but not the prices. ;) I have a friend who has a ton of the stuff though. (BTW...tell her thanks for the 20% off coupon for Kohls.) Dianne, that would've sounded like a nice way to get exercise but you sure don't want to be risking anything like that either. Then again, I think you wear off more calories when you quickly jump out of the way to avoid a car. :cutie:

lol now I don't know.. I was going through my old e-mails trying to find the one Cass sent me as a reminder..lol I can't find it!!! sheesh she left me with one thing to do and can I handle it?..lol NO! I am a sad sad person..lol :lmao:

I was just going to say for you to check out Cass' site. She has it listed there.

but that choc covered bacon.:scared1:
however you know me...always willing to try new foods.:rolleyes1

Yeah, right. :rotfl2:

what do we have anyway??? 11 weeks till sailaway??:yay:

:cheer2:

Ah yes.. I have dibs on the Boo pin Robin got..lol

LOL I think I will make it a quest to wander the ship in my jammies every morning..lol mind you I get up at 6am.. so not likely anyone will be up to see me..LOL

Cass will be up snapping pictures, I'll be running around looking for her, Joanne and friends will be walking deck 4 (or was it 10?). You won't be alone.

WOW, that 7-11 was pretty talented last time. :woohoo:

Doing good. The weather looks to be clearing tonight and it is getting beautiful out.

Suppose to be hot tomorrow.

Hot? More like sweltering Jeff. :faint:

I am going to just flow witht he days... wake up watch the sun rise.. wander with coffee.. wake up the family go eat breakfast... wander the ship... coffee...lunch... wander... coffee.... supper... wander... hot tub.... sleep

I was in awe Heather. He NEVER eats like that. Everytime I turned around he had something else in his paws. :rolleyes1

All those steps and you didn't sucumb to any treats. Great going Nancy.

Well, the popcorn was my treat and the way it's made isn't too good for you. At home I'd make it where it's a lot better for you. popcorn::
