I wanted to share a couple of pictures of the girls in the Mickey Mouse Postcard dresses. Sooooo excited. THey are a little big on them, but I can take them in with my sewing machine (that's about all I know how to do! LOL)

Nice Dresses. I bought a dress similar to those for Leah on our last cruise. But they were sold out in the Adult dresses for Laura. I was bummed. This time I ordered a matching set of dresses and matching Shirts for Stuart and I. I'm pretty excited to be wearing them soon!

I've actually go some 43 year-old film of me at the Wisconsin Dells. My parents loved it there.

I agree nails and toe nails would be fun if parents okay it. What happened to Alex. I missed it. I have not been able to keep up on the last thread. Pooped from -all of our riding and fun.

She broke her ankle last Sat. morning. I think she decided on the murder mystery. Now we just to decide on which one. It looks like alot of fun.

I need a pick me up... I kinda feel in a rut with the cruise stuff.. I know I have stuff to do... but why can't I get myself motivated to get it done??

I should be soooo excited.. yet all I can think of is what I need to get done.. yet I have no clue where to start.. arg

maybe if all my family was around at the same time so we could actually talk about it I sometimes feel like I am all alone planning stuff.. if it weren't for Cass I would have been in a corner in tears with everything that had to be done..sigh.. the woman is a saint! what do you get for a saint as a thank you gift btw?..lol

Here's the Video. Sorry about the length. I was tired last night and didn't edit it too much.

Couple of notes. My Brother-in-Law Craig did a good deal of the training. He's a Modesto Police Officer, His Son Elijah, played my Apprentice. I was going to do much more myself but Laura had rushed things a bit and I barely had time to get Darth Vader dressed. Elijah is the one who is talking to Darth Vader and I am using an Internet Soundboard to reply back to him. I thought that the Volume for Darth was much too low on the video. In Reality, He was quite loud. I think that what happened is that since the children were much closer to the camcorder than was Darth, their voices were picked up rather than his. I may go back over the video and interject the soundbites later.

This ended up being a big hit. For anyone who has a 6-8 year-old boy, It works very well for entertaining the little ones.

How's everyone coming with their FE gifts? I've been trying to think of really cool gifts to make. I've discovered I'm not as creative as those other over achievers!

Loved the pictures of all the Disney goodies! That is one of my favorite parts of coming home.....unwrapping all the Disney goodies we buy!

We live in a very small town just south of Ft Worth. Hopefully, before the cruise, we will be moving to an even smaller town in North EAST Texas, near Longview/Marshall area. I am originally from this area. Funny, we were just talking of taking a weekend trip to San Antonio.

I will definitely check out the links/info, however, I'm just compulsive enough to feel like I've missed out if I don't read through the threads. Even though it seems a daunting enough task, it will be fun for me. I've learned so much already, just browsing through different threads. It's a full time job, keeping up with Disney!

One question tho: Can anyone point me in the right direction of those involved on this cruise with FE? and exchanging? This will be our first time to participate and the girls are SO excited.

Yup, it's me, up at the butt crack of stooooopid on a Saturday.
What's up for the weekend? Anything fun?

We're heading to the Wisconsin State Fair today and then tomorrow up to the Wisconsin Dells for the day. We like to get to the fair early to avoid some of the crowds. We used to able to stay from open to close but that's when the kids were little and they went on all the rides and played tons of carnival games. Now we don't even go to that part of the fair since I'm not crazy about riding on rides that travel the country. Just too many things go wrong.

When I was a teenager I had hair down to my waist. I went on a ride that hung you upside down for a while and my hair got stuck in the gears. They had to cut me out of it. Talk about tears! Not only was my scalp bleeding from the hair getting yanked out, but I ended up with a Pixie hair cut after that because of the chunks that were ripped out.

I'm really surprised that I still love rides of all kinds, especially ones that go upside down.

Hello everyone!! I've been reading this thread(s) off/on for months. Thanks for all the helpful info. This is our first time to be on the Disboards
before our cruise.

We are from Texas; Larry and Leona, Kaylee 18 and Hannah 11. Our first time at Disney was a land/sea combo 4 yrs ago on the Wonder. We were so in love with the cruise that we all said at the same time, "next time I want to skip the parks and go on a longer cruise!" So, 2 yrs later we did, taking a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise. This year, of course, we are on this Eastern cruise for a week but the closer it has gotten the more we all would like to re-visit the parks. So, we are trying to work it out to fly down a week early and go to the parks.

Jeff, I got your msg about adding us to the list but I can't seem to find it. I'm not the most computer literate person. Any suggestions?

Thanks again for everyone's helpful info on everything Disney!!! I still haven't read all the threads, but I'm trying!

too cool steve. man i wish we could have done that when ds was young. we kept all his empire strikes back toys (with boxes) and gave them to him after they bought their house a few years ago. he had the light sabers and we would spend hours playing star wars in the yard.
