Hello everyone,
I posted a few times about 90,000 posts ago back on thread 1. Boy you guys have been busy! I haven't been around here much but we're still going on this cruise.
This has probably been covered, but does anyone know when DCL will be having their halloween activities? We cruised the Magic last year and they had trick-or-treating on the 30th, I think because we were on Castaway Cay on the 31st. With us disembarking on the 31st I didn't know if they will be celebrating Halloween on our cruise or the one embarking on the 31st.
Also, last year they had some special Halloween themed gift items that they had available to order but I don't remember how far ahead they sent those brocures out. Has anyone seen anything like this this year? We'll probably order from Shirley anyway but I like to know what is available.
We've got most of our planning done and now it's just anxiously watching the countdown clock...
Paul
Welcome back Paul

For those of you waiting, Disney has released the fall codes through Christmas Eve. I will probably be calling Central Reservations later today to see what I can get. Here is the link from Mousesavers
Chris---what is this??
Talk about crazies:
Bob's ex- wife is now refusing to send his daughter here for the visit that he's already paid the airfare on and rearranged his vacation schedule at work to accomodate her being here for 3 weeks.
He's so upset.
It was all over a squabble about how she couldn't come up with the money to send Shawna here so that Bob would have to pay. He told her she was way overdue
(she's supposed to come every summer and every other Christmas and birthday and they are supposed to alternate who pays the airfare)
And Shawna hasn't been here since 2006 and Bob paid for that time too!
So he told her she should at least pay half and that he'd take $100 out of her monthly support check for 6 months to cover her half...... she never said yes or no.
Technically, a year ago she asked for $100 extra a month and he did it willingly but they never put it in writing.
So..... technically he's still paying her the stated $ in their divorce agreement, but
she's so pissed about this she told him she is refusing to put Shawna on the plane next week!
Unbelievable how a parent could do that to their ex and also to their child.
(honestly that $100 is only worth about a bit over half in Germany anyway!)
So now he's cancelled the plane fare.... with no refund either! Only credit toward future flights. (which he could have used the $$ for his house closing)
And I really can't change the cruise to include him.
My girlfriend is so looking forward to it and she would not want to cancel.
What a mess
And Bob was so looking forward to seeing his daughter too![]()
I am sorry to hear this. I have had to deal with, as I like to call it, Baby Mama Drama for years. Don't they realize in the end that they only one they are hurting is the kids???? Hang in there

Well, yet again I'm up a stoooopid o clock,
I even got up before Neil this morning and made him coffee and melon and strawberries for brekkie... I'll get brownie points for that
Its dry so far, havent seen the forecast yet, but hopefully I'll get a walk in today and clock up my steps.
Nancy - how did you do yesterday?
Anyone else pedometering? - we should all get one and encourage each other. Its hard if you have a "sitting down" job. A firend of mine clocks up 16,000 each day just at work as she's on her feet al day
Some days, I would only clock up about 4000 if I was standing ironing, in the car or catching up with some tv etc. It really encourages you to move when you see how lazy you've been that day.
Maybe I will put my pedometer back on. I should have done it yesterday when I went golfing. Good job Karen & Nancy!!
