We did and it was a walkoff win. That means the home team wins by scoring the winning run in the bottom of the 9th inning and they merely "walk off" the field before 3 outs.

I am game for the Saturday or Sunday Mickey Pool meet. Most of us will be on the ship by lunchtime on Saturday so an afternoon meet wouldn't be too bad. We could also plan a BOBer spot for sailaway where we could watch the kids from and maybe mingle with one another as we launch the B.O.B.

Then again, I also like the idea for a Sunday meet as well. Either is fine with me. I am sure there will be unofficial/unplanned meets especially after seeing your pics from KK1.

How pitiful of a life does one have when she quotes herself?

Turns out the coach thinks he has potential in swimming and wants him to continue with it after summer is over. That's great but the practices are 3-4 times a week, about 30 minutes away. This is what parents do, right?

I had a swimmer, and until he was able to drive it was so much work. Five mornings a week at 5 am!!!!! For a long time I just stayed and swam in the mom lane, too much work to take him and an hour later pick him up. We dis swim for 7 years. I t was fun, good group of kids but no social life since we were passing out at 8pm.

Does anyone think we should nix the Mickey Pool meet on Saturday and have one on Sunday instead, it's an at sea day, more relaxing, not rushed???

Sounds good, but isn't Palo brunch going to be scheduled for Sunday, and also adult pool on Sunday afternoon? We could also have our first "meet" in the terminal. Will many be getting there late?

Yes, you're right Paige, lots of stuff happening that day. Ok, let's just stick to the pool meet on Saturday, that way we can find out if anyone who is playing Tag has upgraded at the port

Walked the beach again, the weather has been beautiful. I meant to bring my camera but forogt. the humidity is on 45% so it is really nice. The beach is packed though. Wlaked around chairs, floats, boogie boards, and lots of tan bodies!!!
