10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #25

While I'm thinking about this, I wanted to say to all the Bobers: If you see Rob and I on the ship or on excursions, please say hello even if we don't say hello first. We are such a large group that I know I won't remember names/faces and I surely don't want to seem rude. On KK1, I think it was Janice who spoke to me one day and I couldn't remember her name; I was so embarrassed and just pretended to know who she was. I am vowing not to do that this time around, so please excuse me if I have to ask your name more than once. I would love to blame my bad memory on the brain surgery I had last year, but alas, I am just forgetful.

As a side note and kind of ironic, Janice and her awesome family, as well as Rose and June, are our tablemates this time around, and I am so glad.

Maybe we need more BOBers to send pics of themselves to Cass.

Good for you, Chris! I meant to chime in when you were debating RC vs T-Rex. We went to T-Rex in June and it was packed! It took a while to be seated, and while the restaurant was lots of fun for the kids, it was quite noisy, so the "seniors" may not like it. If your kids enjoy RC, then you've made a wise decision. We went to T-Rex to try something new and our kids loved it, but RC would have been just as nice for them.

Thanks! I decided against T-Rex due to the crowds thinking since it is new it would be more crowded than RC. Another thing, I noticed that they have a "Build a Dino" workshop in the restaurant. My kids would love that, but after the cruise, I may not be anxious to spend $100 bucks on stuffed animals! I thought it might be a good place to avoid.

I have always wanted to go to RC and have never had it work out for me, so I am pretty excited. We figure we will have counter service at the MK that night so I thought we could have a decent lunch.

It looks like all aboard in St Thomas is at 4:30pm. If Trunk Bay excursion doesn't return until 2:15, it may be a good idea to book Pardise Point skyway through DCL. For those who have gone on the skyway, do you remember how long it took?

Yep, we are such a large group that it will be tricky. I remember everyone from the KK cruise, but I keep checking Cass's website for the new bobers. It'll be really tricky for them to remember faces/names.

Yep. Two years ago I printed off the pages from Cass's site, but I still forgot names and faces.

Yes I agree with that. That should be a nice time. We will be there a little late, but we will be there. Our flight comes in at 5:07. I am thinking it will be close to 6 before we get our car and are on the road. We are going to Grills for dinner that night so we may see some of you over there. I will probably stay up pretty late hanging out if others are out there. My kids will probably be wired too and will probably swim late into the night.

I will do that the night before we leave. Last time, my dad told me to go to my office the night before to print that off. He was buying dinner that night, so like a good son, I went to the office around 9:00 PM to print off that coupon to bring with me.
