Heather, when y'all did the Paradise Point tramway, how long was your ride up and back? Can it be done in an hour?
Did the DIS slow down too much and prevent me from getting it?
Paige...I haven't done it yet.
It took a minute or two for the reply window to open for me.It slowed down Chris. Congrats
I thought you posted pics on one of our many threads......you see, forgetful, that's me.![]()
Charlottesville is a wonderful town to live in.![]()
We heard on Tuesday that my cousin had gone out of town and her boyfriend had given ALL the puppies away in 1 day.We were really bummed.
Just got a call from my mom about 30 minutes ago that when my cousin got home yesterday all the puppies were in fact gone except ours.So we will be getting him this week. Hopefully today if my dad will meet us halfway.
I may be crazy but it is time for the kids to have a dog. We also love dogs and the kids are old enough to help out (yeah right) and not torture it too much.
It is a lab and kuvasz mix. It will probably end up around 90 lbs!!!!!Love it.
I was just checking out the list of Bobers going to the MNSSHP on the 31st.
Wow...
We won't be able to swing a dead cat without hitting a Bober.![]()
Perhaps if we all had buttons with our names, it would be easier..
I am kind of shy at first too, but when we had our New England meet, it was very easy to just converse with Walt, Di, Dan and Nancy.
GoodnightTime to call it a night.
Thats great you are able to do MNSSHP. I am really looking forward to that part of vacation. It will be the perfect way to wrap up a great time. If you book a room, make sure you use the code for savings posted on mousesavers. I can't remember it exactly, but if you need help, I can find it quick.I just talked to Dave and apprently HE wants to do the MNSSHP - SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!! Now I"m off to book a room and the tickets!
I too am painfully shy at first (beleive it or not) and I think that buttons are a great idea!! I can't beleieve how much work there still is left to do!!
While I'm thinking about this, I wanted to say to all the Bobers: If you see Rob and I on the ship or on excursions, please say hello even if we don't say hello first. We are such a large group that I know I won't remember names/faces and I surely don't want to seem rude. On KK1, I think it was Janice who spoke to me one day and I couldn't remember her name; I was so embarrassed and just pretended to know who she was. I am vowing not to do that this time around, so please excuse me if I have to ask your name more than once. I would love to blame my bad memory on the brain surgery I had last year, but alas, I am just forgetful.
As a side note and kind of ironic, Janice and her awesome family, as well as Rose and June, are our tablemates this time around, and I am so glad.
Maybe we need more BOBers to send pics of themselves to Cass.
I second this Paige. I'm quiet shy really at coming forward (don't laugh AFEG).
Heather, you and Rick were the first KK'ers we met onboard and I excitedly gave you a hug! I hoped I hadn't scared you![]()
The code is KHP. I believe our base rate at Port Orleans (standard view) was $109, with taxes it came to $122. We used that code.
Have you popped over to the Grills website and downloaded a 10% coupon.
It should be a great time. I can't wait to meet everyone! The first kker I saw isn't a Bober, but we were both trying to get our luggage squared away, and I had my kids, and I think she had her kids and parents, so we just exchanged pleasantries.
The first kker I saw in the terminal was Karen. We were both in line to check in, so we just kind of gave each other a wave. She probably doesn't remember that, as she was squealing so loud. Kidding, we were all very excited.
The first kk hug I got was from Sistah Goose, Nancy.
The first kker I met on deck was Jeff and the first kker I met in the bar was AFEG!
The first kker to ask me for assistance was Cinnamike. He was asking us to help him dissuade Robin from buying some jewelry; I think I just laughed in his face. Go, Tart Annihilator, Go!![]()
