Hi Becky. How are things onthe west coast? Glad for summer break?

It's been nice so far, bit chilly for my tastes here in Washington (visiting inlaws). Next week we are going camping with some friends back home and looking forward to warmer, hopefully not too hot, weather
How are things on in Virginia (right?)? Your oldest is she a junior or senior this year?

She's a junior....Looking at a tough class load this year. Your daughter is a 2011 grad as well, yes?

Yes and it's hard to believe that she only has 2 more years of high school left. She is lucky though the school district has a program that will give her life skills and help with jobs after high school.
In fact being here at the inlaws I have had a lot of time trying to figure out what we are going to do WDW wise for her graduation.

Well Big Brother is on right now on the west coast and I figured out Mike's favorite. Seems Big Red is now the Big Brunette AKA Big Bimbo from Big Brother

Do you have ideas on what kind of job she would like after graduation? We are going to do a WDW/cruise when Emily graduates as well, but it'll be tricky with Rob's retirement and starting a new job (getting vacation time)....

Here's the list I have so far, please let me know if I need to add any more. I took off all the last names. We can't request the private room until 30 days out.

Hi,

Di and I were discussing not doing the Palo Brunch. Please remove us from the list.

Been There Done That. Haven't done the Chicken Strips and Sundae, so we are going to add that to our agenda. :thumbsup2

Thanks for you efforts in this matter. :)

Well, it's getting late. It was nice talking to you Becky. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.:goodvibes

She wants to be a teacher, so we are hoping she can get into a preschool setting.

Sarah doesn't like cruising, don't know why she says it's boring :confused3
So the plan is that I will take her, her friend, and my nephew who is promoting from the 8th grade that year, to WDW for a week after graduation. Then we are going to go back at Christmas and have a family vacation there with our new grand-niece (gosh that makes me feel old).
That is the plan, but like you say it all depends on finances. I figured it out tonight that it would just be $300 more to do it this way vs all of us going in June, which with an almost 2 yo it will be too hot to go.

Good evening everyone. We are home at last! We had a great time on vacation, but it is so good to be home. 1119 miles yesterday and today, and about 2350 total on the trip. I forgot to check my trip odometer for the exact number.

Not too many more trips now until the cruise. I have a wedding to do in the Western suburbs of Cleveland the last Saturday of September, but that is pretty much it. There may be some short trips to NY or Boston this summer but we are staying close to home.

It's funny, I got your FB notice as soon as I was getting on 295 south of Richmond. Both AAA and the GPS suggested sticking to that instead of staying on 95 through Richmond.

Glad you made it home safe. Nothing like sleeping in your own bed. ;)

Morning - TGIF
Shoot! I missed the race for the googley! My mom called and had to tell me about a fit that my 11 year old daughter tried to throw for her papaw.... they don't have ANY of that business. Woo hoo!!! Love that!

Congrats on the new addition to your Googley collection, Heather!!:worship::yay:

Thanks Angie. Don't know whether I should take it, but as there was no one else around and you was on the phone, my posts kept us on page 1 for a little while.

:rotfl::rotfl2::thumbsup2
Good one Heather!

But i don't recognize that building from Epcot:confused3
I've been there a few times but I know I haven't been in every building as of yet.

It's in Norway on the World Showcase. Just shows what you "don't" see.

Now, that could be the alternative meet, when the others go to Palo's.

So, that's me done for now. Check back later.

Good morning everybody - thank god its Friday:dance3:

Its been a looooooooooong week this week, but things should get easier from now on.:thumbsup2

My pc is playing up again  I switch it on and the led on my monitor just blinks rapidly but wont switch on or off:confused3 It takes about 10 goes before the stoooopid thing will work.:surfweb:

Off for a long walk this morning with a friend round the park.... that should make my pedometer happy:rotfl:

Good morning. Just checking in after work. I have some laundry going. Then I will try to sleep for three hours. Then it is back to the hospitol to see the wife. I hope we find out SOMETHING tomorrow.
