10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread 24

Our outbound flight on 10/23 from Portland, Maine to Orlando is a 1:45 PM nonstop on JetBlue. I am really excited about that time. We don't have to get up early, and we can eat an early lunch at my parents house before headed to the airport.

We're going after school/work on the 21st. We are doing MNSSHP on the 22nd. We thought about flying that morning, but we'd have to get up real early to go to the airport and then try and have a 9 year old stay up to midnight at the party. We figure we'll sleep in, do Blizzard, come back to the hotel for a bit and then head to the MK for the party.

Friday is still up in the air. We may drive down to Sarasota to visit my Aunt/Uncle. Or, we may do the parks (MGM and/or AK).

Our plan is to pull the kids out of school an hour or two early on the 22nd. We will then drive to Maine to my parents house. My sister is taking DD to get a pedicure that evening.

Once we arrive in Florida, we will head over to the Radisson, check in, then go grab dinner at Grills. After dinner it will be DISmeet time.

The trick is to not get caught though - Ellis had a habit of knocking the door then running when he leaves the bag... I was usually behind him shouting "wait for me!!!!!!!!!!"

That's my mom's bday! (She's not coming on the cruise with us, so we will just celebrate her without her there!!)

It was also my grandmother's birthday as well as their anniversary. So we can really whoop it up!

I currently hold a SPH for 10/23/2010 that I will be releasing back into inventory soon. If someone is interested, let me know, we can work on getting it to one of you. Just trying to help out a fellow BOBer.

Ditto - that's why we booked that same flight out the day before. Never ever before have we been able to go non-stop out of Maine. I'm really looking forward to it!'

It's going just fine. I'm finally nice and busy here at work. I hate when things are slow. It makes the day really drag. How's Maine?

Back from photography class - geez! - too much technical stuff going on tonight - We had a mini test - wasnt expecting that!

More annoyingly........ only half of us bothered completing the homework! - the others just didnt bother!, so the tutor didnt bother either.... oh well, at least you guys helped me choose

I can't stand laziness. If this course wasn't free and they were actually paying for it themsleves I bet they'd try harder. Its being funded by the local schools network cluster, so they are paying out for lazy people... makes me mad. I hate people taking advantage because its not their money. They arent even careful with the cameras they borrow

I'm planning one (maybe) for that time.... depends. Since it's taken me 15 years to get DH to agree to a cruise, I have a feeling this will be an every other year event!

When he said yes to a cruise, I didn't look ANYWHERE else - knew we were going Disney - but for funs and grins, I just priced some Holland America and NCL cruises at the same time as our 2009 one and with similar itineraries and they are MUCH cheaper (any ideas why??) Just curious!! Sticking with Disney, though - want our first experience to be MAGICAL!
