So how does it work over there then?

Over here we move out of one home and the same day we get the keys to the new home and move into the new one. Was your new home empty? Is it offically yours now or are you still completely the legal stuff?

We got possesion/keys/house empty on June 15th as part of our conditions of sale so we have 2 weeks to move in. we have to be out of our rented place by jume 30th. So we are doing the big truck and all furniture on the 28th and clean the old place on the 29th.....fist night in our home will be the 28th or possibly a tad sooner..lol I am soooo impatient..lol

Hello all.... packing for lack of a better word...SUCKS! lol we have donated at least half if not more of our belongings but there is still more We are almost done packing.. except for the basement wich houses all of my husbands various trinkets... aka crap..lol how is it I managed to pack all of upstairs and he takes forever packing the basement??.. One more week and we will be home... thats such a nice feeling Today Sean is gone for the entire day and will not be home till 7ish am tomorrow so Bug and I decided to take a break and go to the mall for some fatherday shopping she is however still asleep and it's 11:30... arg teenagers! anyways for those on facebook I posted a video tour of the new home photobucket has been cranky and feels the need to deny me the ability to upload it.. sorry I skipped the bazillion posts.. sorry so I will wish Happy (insert occasion here) and Welcome aboard to (insert name here) to those I have missed

Congrats on the new home! I feel ya on the teenage end. DS is supposed to help DH with the jungle we call a backyard then they are supposed to go to the shooting range afterward. He still has yet to get out of bed and it's 11 am.

it's actually out of Calgary.. a small town about 1/2 hour away called Okotoks the perks are "no more under the flight path/ no more right beside the major highway" and when I say we are under the flight path I mean we are right where they are practicly landing... no it's not just look up and see a plane.. it's hey the plane is landing in our livingroom! and when I say right beside the highway.. it is a block away... arg.. the noise is freaking loud!! 20 years I have had to listen to it... the new house.... sooooo quiet.... so nice... coffee in the morning.. a puzzle to ponder over and a soft breeze blowing through the patio door....ahhhhh zen......

Hello everyone!

Things are really getting busy now. 10 Days til we're off to WDW!

When we get back, it's time to switch into high gear to get ready for the cruise.

I should probably know this already, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Does anybody have any recommendations on park hopper ticket discounts at WDW? Is there really any savings to buying in advance over when you get there?

We usually buy annual passes and get the DVC discount. I haven't had to buy 7-Day Park Hopper tickets for many years. These tickets are for friends travelling with us.

Which one? We are always looking for campgrounds to go to. July we are hitting Collins Lake for a few days with some friends. This is after going up to visit family in WA. We will be testing the jeep out on the way home from Collins to see how it pulls the trailer (POP UP). If it does ok,which it better, then it will open a lot more camping opportunities. My Dad is putting new tireson it as a late xmas gift.

We are staying at Jackson rancheria. Not to gamble just to relax. Pretty full featured RV park. It's new so trees are small but pool looks great.

Hey fellow BOBers! Super crazy busy day - but I actually felt like I got a lot accomplished!! Got 10 meals (all WW friendly thanks to my new friend Nancy

Went through the girls' clothes to donate to goodwill (and what to save for the fall) - just tons done!!!

My older DD joined the kids thread and is excite about meeting some of the kids going on the cruise. She's excited about the "freedom" she will have on the boat (I'm one of those super overprotective moms.....)

I'm going back to read the thread and respond!

Our weekend will be working in the yard. The weather is suppose to be in the upper 80's here and humid.

Need to pick up our new dishwasher too (not sure if I'll install it today or not).

Jeff - good luck installing the new dishwasher! We had to replace ours a couple months ago and DH is VERY handy - but had a tough time getting that sucker installed!! Kept leaking JUST a tiny bit. It works great now, though.
