I think I will make a t shirt or two, or four!

I have never made them and the only problem is I do not have a color printer. Whenever I need to print things, I just use the lasers at work and they are black and white. I guess I will need to go to Staples then!

Let me give you a hint about going to Staples - make all your signs/images and convert them to .jpg files (if they aren't already). I made this mistake on the first cruise - I had made some simple door signs in Word but they did not print out with the correct font because the Staples computer did not have the Disney font installed.

Or, buy a color printer :) :thumbsup2

I posted on the main DCL board and I guess I should post it here as well - anyone ever done the "Under 2 flags" tour at St. Maarten? It looks really neat, just don't want the girls to be bored....

We did that tour a couple years ago and really enjoyed it. I think the kids may be bored. It is a bus ride to the French side with a stop at a little market and then drive back. I found some great jewelry.

This was one of Cartegena that I had.

Beautiful!

They are cheap enough, I will probably just buy a color printer. I have one laying around the house, but not so sure it will work with Vista. It needs ink cartridges too.

paging Jeff....

Since I know you fly Airtran a lot, and you were also having some flight time issues....

I just looked at my return flight, and it's been moved from 12:16 to 11:44 am on the 31st. I'm thinking it should still be ok, but if they bump it up any further I might have an issue.

My question is, at what point can you try to get changes without a fee? Is there such a thing?

They told me when I was looking to change mine that if the flight changes by 10 minutes or more we can request a free change. There needs to be seats on the plane though you're trying to get on.

On a side note, I've done 11:44 off the ship without a problem. I think my earliest flight may have been 11:32. I don't recall ever having to rush for a pre-11:30 flight though.

After rushing off after the Repo, it will be nice to not run off this time. We are doing nothing that day except lounging by the hotel and doing DTD. We'll probably sleep in and then do breakfast up at Topsiders and watch everyone leave.

Look at you Jen - when the boss is away, the :mickeyjum will play!!

yep...having a lot of fun too!

Been looking on ebay for twinkly transfers, to jazz up som plain tee-shirts.

There are some great ones and I saw this for our B.O.B.'s Tiara Tarts meet.

Are we still doing this and on what day?

Just looking at Cass's site we could do this at lunch meet on Thursday at Lumieres.

At Lumiere's would be fun! I like that idea....

A formal night photo would be cool but possibly too difficult with the different seatings.

I don't forsee a problem with 11:44, but if it gets moved any earlier I'd think about changing it. Some of my in-laws don't move too fast in the morning!

Shore Excursions.....

Anyone started looking at them? I think we have picked out what we want to do at CC and St. Thomas/John, but I'm stumped on the St. Maarten one. Any suggestions? We aren't really "beach folk" and the girls dont know how to snorkel (we are going to do that at CC - along with Parasailing).

To give you an idea - on St. Thomas, we are going to do the Coral World exhibit on our own, as well as the Tramride up to Paradise Point.

Thanks for any suggestions! :-)

Look into the "Under 2 Flags" or maybe the "Butterfly Farm" (I think that is on St M). We did Under 2 Flags and it was a great introduction to the island.

You should be able to do the Tram on your own on St. T. It is very near to the dock.

Jen,

I just checked and that is the second move on that flight. It went from 12:16, to 11:50, to now 11:44. So it has basically moved 32 minutes. You should be able to call them and ask if you can go on the later flight (3:31 p.m.).

Good luck Karen. Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather for you today

The rain held off:woohoo: - it was windy, but dry. Mega tired now. Got in about 30 mins ago - I couldnt stand up any longer so I left a little early. I'm dead beat.

Wish we would have had sunshine today. DS's baseball game is cancelled today.

Thats a shame:sad2:

This is why I love to watch the sun rise on the Magic :lovestruc:cloud9:

If I can drag myself out of bed, I will be there every morning to watch them :thumbsup2

Woooooowwwwwwwww! - what time was that taken?

This was one of Cartegena that I had.

Lovely too!

We'll probably sleep in and then do breakfast up at Topsiders and watch everyone leave.

Not having brekkie with your UK friends then?:snooty:.... actually thats not a bad idea. We're in no hurry to get off either. Our flight doesnt leave til 20.30, so we're doing Kennedy space centre that day when we get off:thumbsup2

Heather! - That site is brilliant!:yay:

I'm going to have to buy more t shirts for all the ones I want:yay::rotfl:

Wasn't it a flat amount per person? For some reason, I thought ours, for the three of us, was like $135. Maybe I'm way off.

I've just checked our final invoice and we've been charged $56.00 each. Think we might get all this back?

Found this on another website..

Disney Cruise Line

The Surcharge: A fuel surcharge of $8 per person, per day, applies to the first and second guests in a stateroom and $3 per person, per day, applies to third, fourth and fifth guests. The surcharge may not exceed $112 per person, per sailing, for the first two passengers, and $42 per person, per sailing, for additional passengers.

Update: Effective December 1, Disney is eliminating fuel surcharges for all new bookings. For cruises that have already been booked, refunds in the form of onboard credit will be given if the closing price on the NYMEX of West Texas Intermediate fuel is below $70 a barrel two weeks prior to the beginning of the calendar quarter in which the sailing falls. Determination dates are as follows: December 18, 2008 for first quarter 2009 (January 1 to March 31, 2009 ); March 18, 2009 for second quarter 2009 (April 1 to June 30, 2009); June 17, 2009 for third quarter 2009 (July 1 to September 30, 2009); September 17, 2009 for fourth quarter 2009 (October 1 to December 31, 2009). The same dates apply for 2010 cruises.

Who's Affected: The surcharge applies to all bookings made on or after May 28, 2008.

Thanks for checking. I'm not sure if I want to move it....I think 11:44 is still ok, but it's starting to make me nervous.

Now here's a question....I looked at the 3:31 flight that day, and the plane looks mostly full (just by clinking on the icon that shows the available seats) but it looks like ALL the middle seats are taken. Does that make sense? I didn't see 2 seats together on that flight, let alone 3.
