Good luck with switching your flights. I know how nasty the airlines can be about switching flights.

LOL---there is 4 of us. I cannot pack with the better half because he is a digger once things are all packed neat---this drives me CRAZY!! So I figured 4 suitcases and 2 garmet bags - roundtrip = $220.
But we actually could easily pack 6 suitcases..we do tend to overpack. My parents laugh at us because we can fill a suitcase with just shoes (and that isn't just me) :rotfl2:.

Fly Air Tran, they have large overhead bins. You can easily fit a 21" in the long way.

You will use far less than what you pack though. I have my DW pack and then tell her to take out 1/3-1/2. We've traveled so much though, she now does it on her own. The key is to pick clothes that you can mix/match.

Night at the museum 2. Going with Dh's parents (best inlaws ever!!!!) dad is recovering from esophagus cancer surgery and mom has been taking care of him. They are young (early 60s) and travel alot so this had been a slow and hard recovery (surgery was over 2 months ago). No chemo - yay- but really slow recovery.

Really going to bed now - having an iPhone and surfing the boards while in bed is not a good idea!!! LOL

Enjoy your time with the inlaws. Hope your FIL fully recovers soon.

That's a very nice ride. You should have good weather today as well. But looks like more crummt stuf coming in for the weekend. When do you head back?

Hello and welcome. I'm Nancy K traveling with DH Dan. We are retired. We've been on 3 4-day cruises but this will be our first 7 day.

We're seeing the sun for the second day in a row! WE migth even see it tomorrow too before rain comes in overnight. Then it's supposed to be showery until Monday. Can't believe it's the middle of June & we haven't even put out AC's in yet. Save electricity though!
Have a nice day everyone!

N

Howdy Nancy. We had a rainy chilly day today. We rode around the lakes. Yesterday was absolutely wonderful. We rode up Mt Washington. 8 miles straight up. fun but scary. We got a flat tire after we got off the mountain. Thank God Walt had good insurance and they took care of us. tow, new tire, hotel until tire was fixed since Harley dealer was closed. We have truly been blessed on this trip. diane

But I am determined to be able to have Karen take my picture and me not go and hide behind people!!

Just get a bottle of merlot and you just kill those brain cells that you used to think with. Then they won't hurt anymore. :lmao:

Hi everyone, wow it's hard to keep up with this thread...I come on to check at night when everyone in my house is snoring away (I have terrible insomnia) and I have tons of pages to catch up on.

Hope everyone had a nice day today. I was up last night until about 3am (EST) reading DCL trip reports...I don't know, I just read one and couldn't stop reading. :confused3

I haven't welcomed you yet. Welcome. I'm Lori cruising with my DH Scott and 3 kids. We are real excited to cruise again!!!!

LOL, thanks! We are really excited as well. How old are your kiddos? Our DD is 3 and she's mega excited to go back on "Mickey's Boat".

I love this sign!

That's an awesome sign!

I am here now. I am feeling much better and will probably go to work tomorrow. It's also the kids last day of school so it will be a fun day in our household.

Glad to hear you're feeling better! :goodvibes

Ok, I really should be in bed sleeping, DD will be up in a few hours and I'll have to be just as energized to keep up with her...have a great Friday everyone! :flower3:

You didn't kill it - I'm here (driving home and I've been told not to surf the web:surfweb: while driving! Not really safe! )

I'm home, ate my new Healthy Choice meal (it was YUMMY - or maybe I was just starving). Actually, it was Roasted Chicken in Alfredo sauce and for my WW friends, it was only 5 points!!! I have some veggies roasting in the oven on my Pampered Chef Stonepan and the only points in those is the Olive Oil I used. Yummy yummy in my tummy!

That sounds delicious.

Wasn't it a flat amount per person? For some reason, I thought ours, for the three of us, was like $135. Maybe I'm way off.

I'd forgotten about this. :banana::banana:

I usually don't because I walk the stairs (we're usually on Deck 5 or 6). Being on Deck 2, it was a haul up to Deck 9. Going down wasn't a problem, but up was killing me after about the 4th day.

We use the stairs most of the time. It's one way to ensure we do some exercise.

And if you ask AFEG he'd tell you about the cases that Jeff brought on the Repo last year.

So now I must cut and run. Have a great day everyone.
