Hi everyone, wow it's hard to keep up with this thread...I come on to check at night when everyone in my house is snoring away (I have terrible insomnia) and I have tons of pages to catch up on.

Hope everyone had a nice day today. I was up last night until about 3am (EST) reading DCL trip reports...I don't know, I just read one and couldn't stop reading. :confused3

LOL, thanks! We are really excited as well. How old are your kiddos? Our DD is 3 and she's mega excited to go back on "Mickey's Boat".

That's an awesome sign!

Glad to hear you're feeling better! :goodvibes

Ok, I really should be in bed sleeping, DD will be up in a few hours and I'll have to be just as energized to keep up with her...have a great Friday everyone! :flower3:

My kids are Alex (girl 13), Julia (6) and Harrison turns 4 in September. It will be Harrison's first cruise.:banana: He is mega excited.:cool1:

Just the green stuff this time.

Even though we have enough points for both of us to cover the cruise and the days we spend at the World we are considering and I think we we will is do half green stuff and half points.
I hope the weather is better in Fla Joan it has been raining here since last night and the weather man says it won't stop until Saturday.
Well Nancy started getting things ready for our annual two week trip to York Beach on July 11th I just hope it wars up I need to work on that tan before the cruise;);).

It has been nice here if you like hot, but it's better than rain. It hit 100 Wednesday in Pensacola!! I hope it stays through the week end so I can do some floating! We have been running the pool at night to cool off and that doesn't usually happen until August!

Have a great day all.

Howdy Nancy. We had a rainy chilly day today. We rode around the lakes. Yesterday was absolutely wonderful. We rode up Mt Washington. 8 miles straight up. fun but scary. We got a flat tire after we got off the mountain. Thank God Walt had good insurance and they took care of us. tow, new tire, hotel until tire was fixed since Harley dealer was closed. We have truly been blessed on this trip. diane

Wow, stay safe.

I usually don't because I walk the stairs (we're usually on Deck 5 or 6). Being on Deck 2, it was a haul up to Deck 9. Going down wasn't a problem, but up was killing me after about the 4th day.

I am a deck 10 walker. I am an early bird and DH is not, so if any one wants to walk before breakfast you will find me up the top deck with all the guys in yellow setting up chairs and drying the floor. I always take the stairs too! I even take the shoes off and go barefoot when dressed. In may I put mom & sis in elevator and then met them.

You know Joanne by the time we get to cruise time I will need that walk the morning I won't go any further:lmao: and as you know without a doubt Nancy will walk to.

Fly Air Tran, they have large overhead bins. You can easily fit a 21" in the long way.

You will use far less than what you pack though. I have my DW pack and then tell her to take out 1/3-1/2. We've traveled so much though, she now does it on her own. The key is to pick clothes that you can mix/match.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the tip!

We're flying Airtran (out of Chicago though) so I'll have to remember that.

I'm hoping for no more than 2 bags going, and no more than 3 bags coming home.....

[insert laughter here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:]

Hey everyone! Long time no see/talk....

I've been lurking but haven't had much of a chance to post. The boss is out of the office today, so I might drop in a little more.... :goodvibes

Welcome to any new cruisers I might have missed.....I'm Jen (nicknamed Jen Mouse by a good friend of the BOB), and I will be cruising with DH Pete, DS Thomas (6) and a bunch of assorted family members and in-laws.

Well, I got one more pre-cruise task accomplished yesterday - I reserved and paid for my off-site parking at the airport. We're flying out of Chicago Midway, and there's a secured lot nearby where you can park and they shuttle you over to the terminal, and it costs less than economy airport parking. We used it for our Oct. '07 cruise and it worked out very well (especially since I HATE driving into airports!). Well, yesterday I got an email with a 10% off code, good through October 31st! Perfect! So, one more thing done.....even if it's a boring task.

Yes! You'd think there is some kind of prize for this game. :confused3:lmao: Won't you be surprised. :lmao:

What cruise are you on dude? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

If Cass made that offer, you'll all get talked about on this thread. Hmmmm, Cass, Robin and Mike all in one room? Say it isn't so. :eek:

Nancy K, we were supposed to have rain all week and I think it rained only once. I wish we would get some already. I hate watering my lawn. My water bill is high enough! :scared1:

Atta girl Arleen! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Good point about watering the lawn - and we haven't had to put AC's in yet. I guess every rain cloud has a silver lining!

Yah, but I don't typically walk before breakfast. My body isn't ready for such activity yet!

Good thing it was after you'd been up the mountain instead of at the top! What hotel did they put you up at? You must be about ready to leave NE and out across the country again.

Please keep your fingers crossed for sunshine :cool1:

Wish we would have had sunshine today. DS's baseball game is cancelled today. That's bummer because the field is really hard to get reserved and our league had it all day today. Guess the field is a mess (it is below the grade of the parking lot). We had over 3.25 inches of rain last night with more on the way. The stadium it is next to (Miller Park), supposedly doesn't have power either.

Guess it is a home day with DS.

I'd forgotten about this. :banana::banana:

It will be a nice add on to the room credit (granted it isn't free, but not as noticable as having to pay the room bill). Add that to the DCL and the Dreams OBC's, plus the $500+ from the Disney Visa, and we'll be sitting pretty good.

If I don't do it first thing it doesn't hapen. It's way too hot up there when the sun is out and when the sun is out you know where i am!!!!!

My bill in may was - are you sitting down $26.88!!!! I had the credits from dream and disney visa. The weather was so bad I had very few drinks.

And if you ask AFEG he'd tell you about the cases that Jeff brought on the Repo last year.

Hey, in our defense, most of them were small and could be carried on. I think we only checked 3. But yes, the total was 9. :rotfl2:

Also, don't forget, the cruise itself was 15 nights plus 3 nights in LA before hand.
