We are off to London at the weekend and we are staying right by the Tower of London. Cant wait.

No you weren't bad at all. I haven't had a car since November, so it was time. I wish I could have both, but right now my job is a little necessary. I really reallly REALLY want to go in October, just not happening. DS really wants to meet this Chris we talk about so much. Oh and by the way everytime we hear about or talk about YO-Si-MIGHT (which is how we say it in our very bad Yorkshire accent) we think about you and the family.

Thanks, it's nice to hear from someone on here that has one and likes it. I did some research, but you just never know.
Well mine isn't a 4x4 its a 4x2, but then again I don't have the snow to deal with here in CA either. It's practically new, only has 24300 miles on it, and price on it was awesome. Hoping to take it to Yosemite next weekend. Has a tow hitch too so now we can pull our popup. Going to be doing a lot of camping so we can afford to go to WDW in 2011 (hopefully). Cant wait to put my Jessica Rabbit decal on it.

late Sunday night check in....

Rob's snoring next to me and everyone else is asleep. What a crazy weekend. Last night, I got so nervous while Em was out. The weather got really bad--thunder and lightning. I'm so glad she is in her bed safe and sound. She had lifeguard training all day today so she was wiped out.

We are all a little somber tonight. One of Emily's best friends is moving tomorrow. This is such a tough time for teens in military families. They will stay in touch because of modern technology, but there's nothing like having your best mate to laugh with, you know? Our country (and our allies) are so wonderful about supporting our troops, and I know it seems I am always asking for prayers for our military....but please don't forget those who make the sacrifice without a choice--the kids. They never chose this life and sometimes they are the ones in the most pain. Emily's friend who is moving is going to have to start over in a school 5X the size of our high school. She is a great kid, so she'll be ok, but she'll have hurdles for sure.

Ok, so I am a little sappy-blame it on the wine. I've had a couple of glasses.
