I'm spending all day tomorrow at a kids music and fine arts competition. I will probably be significantly balder tomorrow evening when I get home. It is one of the 5 or so days out of the year that I despise! It's not that I don't like seeing the kids perform, but they perform for 10 minutes, but you are stuck there several hours!

I'll have my iPod and BlackBerry fully charged to entertain myself.

Hey VA BOBers. After having a great time in DC and not seeing everything we wanted to, we started looking at airfare for the last weekend in August and Labor Day weekend. The hotel we had is the same cheap rate, so if we can shave $40 off each ticket there (which is likely), we may slip another trip in this summer.

Up for another DIS Meet?

Absolutely! That would be great since we will be within striking distance of the cruise date. So much to talk about.

It was announced today that the Statue of Liberty will once again open her crown to visitors. In the past, visitors have only had a chance to look up into the lady's superstructure. I guess it is only fitting to get into her head after being able to look up her skirt. .

Thats good to hear, although I personally thought the view was terribleand not worth the climb. Dirty teeny windows Better view from her feet

He got to sleep at 4am and was up again at 6.30am

He helped with brekkie and drying the dishes.

The kids are now doing their version of the "olympic games" so he's helping set up.

He'll be knackered when he gets home on Sunday

I have no idea about any of the teams there but apparantely you do not like Blackburn either. I said that to Sean the other week about him liking them and he gave me some of the same comments. Something about not even taking one of their tops into a restroom to use.

So Kristin and Stacy went to see Danny Gokey tonight. (American Idol finalist...just in case you don't watch). I've been watching the news and it's a mob scene. He's having a free mini concert down at our Summerfest grounds on Lake Michigan. Everyone who goes is getting a free ticket to Summerfest when it starts this summer.

Then, he'll be tossing out the first ball at the Brewers/Cubs game tonight.
