Wow, quiet night on the thread.
I'll recap some of the nights festivities.
In a stunning turn, CC Sabathia and Alex Rodriguez led the Yankees to their first win in 6 games. Until the first innning of tonight's game, the Yankees had not been in the lead in any game since last Saturday!

Perhaps having A-Rod back will truly make a difference.
Star Trek opened nationwide today to rave reviews. Our own Captain Chris attended the 11:15 AM showing at Lisbon Landing Cinema 12 today and had this to say.
"I have wanted to see this movie for a long time. I became a fan of Star Trek while sick with mononcleosis in 11th grade, when there was nothing else to watch on TV at night except Star Trek The Next Generation. I quickly became a fan and enjoyed the series. It was truly a movie to go to see even alone since there was no willing date to accompany me. All of the hot women I know had work or parental responsibilities."
It was announced today that the Statue of Liberty will once again open her crown to visitors. In the past, visitors have only had a chance to look up into the lady's superstructure. I guess it is only fitting to get into her head after being able to look up her skirt.

Forgive my apparant boredom. My wife is watching Bride Wars and I am being a good husband and sitting along side her. I have been ultra cynical tonight, so I thought I would be a little creative in my cynicism.
